Lucumo: Welp, made it past the bat with relative ease this time (had 6 lives at that point anyway) but the elevator whittled me down and those three Dudleys obliterated me.

Spectrum_Legacy: You can make that 3 Doberman fight easier if you wait a bit and beat up those ratmen that rush on you, one or two of them will drop a knife. After you are done with them, pick the knife and throw it at one of the dobermans, effectively aggroing/singling it out. Finish him off and then you have an easier fight ahead. Also there is a turkey or two in those barrels to fill you up.

Hope it helps. This is at least how I ran 1cc on hardest difficulty for the first time, because fighting 3 of them at the same time is a bit hectic.
Thanks, I have to try that the next time I end up there (so probably next run). And yeah, there was one turkey but it didn't help much. Often times, you do an attack and one of the three will punch you right as you finished that one. That pillar on the very right obstructing the view also doesn't really help.
Once I've finished my 1CC Gal run, I can finally try out another character, haha.
To be perfectly honest, I don't dig the the highly sexualized presentation of Gal (the female protagonist) either but Fight'n'Rage is a MIGHTY fine Beat 'em up. Especially Streets of Rage fans will love this game. Don't forget to check out of the best fan games ever Streets of Rage Remake:

Ancient-Red-Dragon: I bought this game but it's unplayable for me as far as I can tell, because my monitor's resolution is 1280x1024 and apparently this game can't accommodate that resolution properly. Instead, it displays huge black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. And the in-game Display setting give me no option to select any resolution. The only option it has are "Fullscreen" and "Window."
Like many games today the game was not designed to work in 4:3 display resolutions.

I can't believe people have nothing to do apart from arguing of politics (?) and sexism (?) in a videogame. It's the only thing happening in this forum since the beginning of last year at least.
Get your asses out in the real world and start doing anything useful for a change, if you really care about what you preach! But I guess you people withdraw any time when you actually have to DO something other than talking. Keyboard lions.

We are nearly on the verge of the third world war and people get mad over drawn boobs. No wonder the society is collapsing.

Also, the game seems great. I'll be sure to enjoy fists'n'boobs to the maximum. :P

gamesfreak64: Anyway why can't we just play games without being 'offended' because of some scantily clad game character.
Yes, that what the meaning of my post; just focus on the games, and not focusing on comments made without malicious intent in it.

Judalscariot is right: I'm made an English word from an Italian one. Sorry, I was convinced was English, but not.
Generally is considered a negative attitude.
It mainly aims at people that get upset, or enraged, because of hypothetically offensive sentences that violate "good society customs" .

gOg isn't necessarily deleting your comments. Users can click the (-) Rate this post button, which then enables a "Mark as spam" button. If enough people mark a post as spam, the post disappears.

And great - it happened just as I was typing this.

liltimmypoccet: So GOG is deleting my comments when I point out the fact that they focus on genitals more than any other marketing campaign and that the art style is borderline loli.

Touchy subject?

@HereForBeer But it happens within minutes of it being posted so the time frame is too short. You can't have that many downvotes and no replies. I also didn't lose rep after the comment being hidden which could be a sign.
It could be a single user with multiple accounts and a script.

Artwork is provided by the developer/publisher so if you have an issue with marketing or artwork you should talk to them about it. GOG could get in trouble for using assets not approved by the studio to promote the product they created.

Sure you can. The thread stays at the top of the list due to frequent posting, and it takes maybe 5 seconds for a user to downrate and mark as spam. And I think it takes only a small number of spam-marked votes to hide any particular post, maybe 10 or so? Not hundreds, anyway.

But generally, this is not something that gOg has done in the past - without warning a user, anyway. They are actually quite flexible with the stuff we are allowed to post, as evidenced by all of the threads complaining about this or that feature or problem with gOg itself.
Scroll over youtube autoplay is back for me.
C'mon GoG.

liltimmypoccet: @wolfsite I am pretty sure that the store page art work is done by GOG artists because the same games sold on Steam dont have the same art work. Take Metal Slug 2 for example.
I checked the developers Twitter and other pages and it's the same artwork. They even use the same artwork on Steam as well as screen grabs.

Edit:

I double checked after you edited your post, all artwork is the same on GOG, Steam, and the developers Twitter,Blogspot accounts.

Could definitely be because I'm certainly one of them. User has 0 games, 29 reviews including one for this game which is just spam + accused GOG of advertising loli style (I don't think the user even knows what that is) which is supposed to be "typical" (what?) of GOG. Sure, he/she changed the phrasing in subsequent posts but it's still spam in the end. Dunno, but I would have already banned the account, considering it produced nothing worthwhile and keeps stirring things up, including accusing the store of different things.

As for the game, stages 1-3 seem like the best way to farm coins, considering it only takes a few minutes and it nets you like 250 coins.

liltimmypoccet: Its the same concept but GOG's version has edited more pubis skin. My statement remains true for other games in general like Metal Slug 2 which have sexualized presentations exclusive to GOG.

@Lucumo I said borderline loli. If you cannot recognize that GOG is trying to get as close as possible to that line then you are part of the problem and your opinion is worthless.
Just triple checked, Artwork is the same.

Also it doesn't make you look good when you attempt to belittle and dismiss others just because they disagree with your opinion on something.
There is definitely at least one spam 'review' for this game on GOG which is not actually a review.

BlueOctavo: I have high expectations for this game based on the gameplay videos and lack of real complaints!

Lucumo: The only thing that could have been done better is increasing the fighting stage when opponents are around. There often isn't much space to move around and enemies like to walk out of punch-/kickable territory at times. Additionally, while I'm not sure if the same enemies always drop health...if you punch/throw them out of bounds, it's impossible to pick those up.
(Died three times on those flies + bat boss already. Bat boss flying above the water and easily dodging any attempts to hit it makes it so hard. The knockback also hurts because you will pretty much always fall into the water which means 1/3 of your health is gone. And well, I'm going 1CC or bust, so I've never made it past it so far.)
Ah, thanks for the warning about out of bounds pickups and the small stages. Like you, I'll be going for a 1CC, probably trying out F.Norris first (I tend to prefer the agile/ fragile character).
