Devil's Hunt is now available, DRM-free. Get it 10% off until September 24th, 1pm UTC.

Once a bon vivant son of a rich entrepreneur, Desmond’s life has been steered into a sequence of unfortunate events that led him to lose most of his humanity. Gaining demonic powers and becoming the hell’s executor, he struggles to find a place for himself in the ongoing war. He is both the destroyer and the savior, as his human part is gradually stepping out of the shade of his hunger for vengeance. He fights fiercely with his fists and claws, making use of the skills both his demonic and human sides offer. Passing through the gates of hell and back, he will eventually have to decide where his place is.
"Enjoy the narrative – almost 100 high-quality cutscenes of up to 2 hours’ duration "

You mean a two-hour long cutscene? And there are others? Strange... I thought Gog would not sell any new movie.
Some of the screenshots do look interesting, bits of gameplay do, too, but the premise is just way too edgy for me... honestly, it sounds like teen serialized novels like The Mortal Instruments, and stuff like that, "young adult fiction" that tries too hard to be "cool" and "edgy" but ends up just being an absolute cringefest. I didn't enjoy this kind of thing when I was a teen, I sure as hell don't enjoy it now that I'm way into my 30s.

Not saying it's a bad game, hopefully people who enjoy this kind of thing will be happy they can buy it on their store of choice, just an input from someone who could definitely enjoy the gameplay but is hugely put off by the supposed lore, the characters' looks and what I can glimpse of the story.

I'm pretty sure it's 2 hours for the whole 100 cutscenes altogether.

I know, yet since that's how it's phrased, I'm willing to take them to the letter.

Yeah. I'm feeling the same. I would of bought this game and blasphemous but I just had enough of my Roman Catholicism and Religion upbringing. Let's just make games fun and for everyone :)

I wonder what would Jezus of Nazareth say if he went to Vatican and saw all that wealth there guarded by the Swiss Army!?

It's just bad phrasing. Devil's Hunt is 5-7 hours long total and its cutscenes are usually only a couple minutes, if that.

Apparently, it is not obvious that my comment was tongue-in-cheek. After all, this is a self-defeating game where you "can tilt the scales in favor of one of the opposing party".

Not to mention "Based on original novel", "and becoming the hell’s executor", et caetera...

Ha! That's my bad, then. There are enough people out there who really do require that level of specificity that it can be difficult to pick up on intent.

The in-game writing isn't much better, for the record. I think it may have broken my brain.

Hey, Mortal Instruments were great! They've popularized incest among teens before GoT did it!

Wasn't incest (and everything else pertaining to sex) always popular among teens?
