In a world of conspiracy and lies, you must choose your fate--and the world’s.

Deus Ex: Invisible War, a challenging and intelligent action RPG, is available on GOG.com for only $9.99 with the soundtrack, 2 wallpapers, developer interview, 2 avatars and 24 artworks.

20 years after the actions of JC Denton led to a economic slump, known as “The Collapse”, the world is a different, much darker and more dangerous place. Corporations, political groups, and religious organizations fight for power. Like in the original Deus Ex, you--an agent--will perform missions for people and groups of your choice. And you will shape the future of Earth accordingly! In this world there is no right or wrong--it is only what you decide. Will you rise to the challenge?

Rarely you find a sequel better than its original. Is this the case? Deus Ex was a masterpiece of RPG genre, but Deus Ex: Invisible War delivers fantastic role-playing experience of a similar (but tech-augmented) calibre. Invisible War delivers the same kind of FPS plus RPG formula, open-ended gameplay, gritty and dark Sci-Fi storyline, and excellent production values like the action-pumped soundtrack and amazing graphical effects. Once again, you’re given a level of freedom unparalleled by many modern games. Sneak, hack, talk, or shoot--how will you choose to fight?

Become Alex D and step into the coherent and interactive world of Deus Ex: Invisible War for only $9.99.
And now bring us DX:HR as well ;)
Not the best but an ok game sadly shows its console roots with a lot more limited environments

Wishlisted for now mostly for the extras..
yay.

i am playing DEHR at the moment. i want to replay DE1 afterwards (well... few weeks at least) but i never played DEIW. now i get a chance.

thx.
Already got two copies of this one, but I'll wishlist it anyway.
Not really a surprise. Now I'm just waiting for the inevitable wave of "how dare you release this wretched game that never should have existed" and "Deus Ex had a sequel?" posts.

It's not a bad game at all, but $10 isn't a very inviting price tag.
Not a big fan of the 2nd Deus Ex game, but nice release nonetheless.
It's good to see both original Deus Ex on GOG :). I purchased boxed editions circa 7 years ago for $8 each, so I'll wait for a promo.

Why would I deny the fact that Deus Ex had a sequel? It did, it was called Human Revolution, and it was pretty good.

;)
for me it's too dumbed down, not worth kissing boots of dx1 or dxhr - waiting for some real classics ;]
Damn, same as Steam, no German Soundtrack :(

The German Dub is really great (a lot of well known voices). Too bad, but I will skip until it drops to $3 or less :)
Legendary release.
10$ for an expansion is too much, but at least it's stand-alone.
Oh god that game was bad. I restarted it multiple times, because i couldn't convince myself that it was actually as bad as I remembered, I gave up each time after a couple of hours really trying to find it decent.

I'm thirsty, but just thinking of it discourages me of going to fetch a glass of water in the kitchen. That would mean 2 doors. That would mean two "are you sure" enquiries, and two loading screens.
The soundtrack is very good. It was easily retrievable from the PC version. Most of the tracks make good ambient/exploration for other games like Oblivion.

This is the rare case where I would suggest people play this game first in the series as the original DX feels like a massive upgrade to this title... and the sequel here wouldn't feel so bad if it was the first experience.
