Demetrios: The BIG Cynical Adventure is now available DRM-free. Get it 80% off until July 26th, 1pm UTC.

Bjorn Thonen, a slob of an antique dealer living in Paris, is robbed one night after coming home drunk. Forced to conduct his own investigation with the help of his neighbor Sandra, he ends up involved in a murky, mysterious affair. Will these unlikely heroes be able to rise up and discover ancient secrets?
Nice, instabought. Also like the openness for the developer (post-mortem from 2018) and that GOG revised the decision to reject (but maybe more a deal to bring this and ProjektBrok to GOG).
Bought :D

Bought it at Steam long time ago.
Bought. I couldn't say no to that facepalm :D
The Achievements tag is missing in the game card

Edit: Now it's correct.

Demetrios arrived in the DRMfree part of the world - at last.

I had already much fun with him, and I'll gladly spend some pocket money to welcome him here.

Insta-backed-up.
Bought. Thank you so much COWCAT Games & GOG team! :)
Hm... I'm torn on this one. On the one hand, I grew up playing point & click adventure games, and I kind of want to support adventure devs; on the other hand, this artstyle is definitely rubbing me the wrong way, it looks really crappy and the character designs remind me of bottom of the barrel european cartoons from the late 90s (something I have NO nostalgia for, whatsoever). Maybe it's exceptionally funny, I guess? A lot of people seem to have liked it a lot. I don't know. It's a hard pass, for me, but... thanks, GOG...?

Glad to hear those nice feedbacks, people :)

I'm also hoping this opens the door to my new and even more ambitious adventure game in the making when it's finally ready! (hopefully next year, been hard at work on it for 3 years now)

To @groze - yes I know the style of the game is not for everyone. It's meant to be silly. Not super great crafted jokes, more the easy kind. Same with art style, I did my best but in the end I believe the sketchy style fits the game mood and it's one special adventure.

Welcome to GOG. And I hope we'll see more of your games here (I already bought your game and looking forward to play it).
Please, ask the GOG staff to give you a "dev-tag" so that you can be identified as a game creator here.
Well, congratulations. I just read the Post Mortem and i love the adventure games so i´ll buy for the effort to port the game to gog, with translations to five languages, linux version, achievements and all this stuff and includes the artbook and soundtrack as goodies (that other games add as dlc).

Good luck for the new adventure game!
Although I like adventure games, I'm usually bad at them, but since this seems like it'll run on my old clunker, and since you talked to us in the forum and since it's being sold at a price I can afford - bought. And thanks and good luck with finishing your latest project.

It should run on computers with Intel HD Graphics, yes. This GOG version is newer because I switched to GameMaker Studio 2.0 to make it (due to 64 bit requirement for Mac & Linux soon) so it has slightly higher requirements than previous versions (DirectX 11 vs DirectX 9 previously)

Yes this is a very friendly adventure game to begin with the genre. Don' t hesitate to "eat some cookies" to get hints when you're stuck!

And yes it was also available on itch.io previously. No reason not to make the game available everywhere :)

Welcome to GOG! Let's hope your games are well-received by the community here.
Out of curiosity, is the game related in any way to Greece? The name "Demetrios" surely is Greek. Of course you do not have to answer that if it spoils the game :)
