CRYPTARK, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 50% launch discount until September 25, 10PM UTC.
A sci-fi shmup with roguelike elements that has you boarding the procedurally generated insides of large alien vessels and making their defences go kablooey. Come up with a solid attack plan, pick your loadout, then bring the pain with over 70 weapons and items of mass destruction.

Make sure to grab the soundtrack for some extra beat to the mayhem.

I detest rogue-shite due specifically to perma-death, and repeating the same level over, and over, and over again, but if this handles it properly, then I'll definitely give it a go; especially for 7 bucks as this game looks amazing!

For rogue-fans this is a no-brainer!

EDIT Just came back from steam and it's more of an option, so in the cart it goes!

Nice been waiting for this one for sometime. Very nice shmup game. Definitely getting it. Thanks gog.
Conceptually sounds interesting, but the graphics hurt my eyes.
Also not a fan of all caps names.
Hmmm. Looks interesting.
This game is sold with a Linux version on Steam and HumbleStore.

Will the Linux version be available here on GOG?
Has anyone tried this game yet?
That's the first Alientrap game that actually looks interesting to me. The Mac and Linux version are conspicuously missing though.

Dear GOG,

PLEASE READ: This dev has abandoned their previous game 'Apotheon' here on GoG, its in an outdated state compared to steam and the latest patch contains some important fixes.

You might want to check that before allowing more of their games here. Devs have to stop treating GOG users like 2nd class citizens.
Oh, so it's got permadeath and randomised level-layouts, so I assume that means the developer deleted/locked the daily challenge for this version?

If this is the case, then I won't buy this here. Tired of some indie developers treating DRM-free users like second-class customers.

GOG, please remember your standards.
-Game looks awesome.
-Not interested in buying a version that's unsupported/going to be abandoned.
-Off to Steam
-???
-Profit. (not for GOG)
Oh look! Another Mac/Linux game which got lost on its way to GOG!

Let me quote Septa Unella: "Shame! Shame! Shame!"

Why would you punish GOG and yet instead reward a dev/publisher that doesn't support their product? These devs/publishers that treat GOG as second fiddle aren't going to change unless people just refuse to buy their games and let them know why they're not buying.
Got it as soon as I saw it's from Alientrap. Though I don't like platformers much, these guys know how to make it right.
