Interesting idea. I've tried to get a similar experience with modded Rimworld but the payoff just wasn't there.

Don't buy this game at the moment: the offline installers are broken/corrupted and there is still no answer/solution from gog.com support yet... so if you expect to buy a new game for the weekend and have some fun buy something else until this problem has been solved!

Are you sure they're broken / corrupted? GoG has had an issue with changing default OS recently - when I bought Stygian a few weeks ago, for some reason the OS had changed to Mac - I hadn't realized until I downloaded it and got a .pkg LOL.

See if maybe your offline installer default didn't change to something else and try redownloading for your OS - hopefully that's it!

Yes, unfortunately I am sure that the files are broken - others mention this also in the games' forum. And I know what you mean regarding the mac files issue - I had that a few weeks ago when the windows installer files in the games library all of a sudden turned to *.pkg files instead of *.exe files. In that case I had to do a refresh with

and then change from windows to mac, and back to windows installers until I finally could download the *.exe files instead of *.pkg files ...

In addition to being broken the file sizes are also way too small - they should be 4 GB and 2.1 GB for the bin files but I only get 680 MB for the first file and 531 MB for the second bin file... so there's definitely something wrong too...

The suspense! I'd have the funds for collector's edition while it's discounted but otherwise not. (had to use a paysafecard here a while ago since it would've started to expire)
But a patch, as I read on Steam, is tomorrow and most likely after the discount ends, and who knows if any updates (like the Linux version) ever reach GOG.

Patch 1.2 is now available in our libraries - at least the offline installers have been updated and you can even download a patch from 1.1 to 1.2! Thank you gog.com!

So the first time I noticed the pre-order bonus is after the bonus is no longer available. And now I notice a season pass with 4 DLC, a bundle with the game and season pass, and a bundle with the game and collector's content, but no edition that simply includes everything. Between the editions, the DLC and the pre-order bonus I think I will move this to my "wait for a complete edition" list.

I prefer to wait to play games until they are complete.

Can confirm. Tried multiple times to download and not only did it not work I also noticed that the individual pieces' size when I went to save (and when downloaded) did not match up to the size they were 'supposed' to be. In one case more than a GB smaller than it ought to have been.

Hopefully in about half a year aka they should focus on fixing all the bugs and issues instead of supporting a dead OS that only the vegans of the computer world use.
