And here go with the immature GOG fanboys downvoting posts with nothing but facts and true.

If you've already received this game for free from being an owner of the previous game, is it cheaper to buy all the DLC + Soundtrack on GOG or with the upgrade on Steam? Steam is cheaper. That's a fact.

Is the game DRM-free on both? Yes. Again, that's a fact.

Are the numerous games on GOG that have been abandoned, are missing features compared to the Steam versions, or behind on patches? Yes. Another fact.

So if all of those things are true (and they are), then what good reason do I have to buy it on GOG? Umm, none, unless you're a GOG fanboy... Why be loyal to any company? LOL, you think GOG is your friend? Please. I care about the money in my pocket more than anything else, and if Steam is offering the same thing at cheaper price, along with being DRM free, then it's an easy choice.

GOG is forever treading water in the deep end. CD Projekt doesn't provide this store with enough resources to be maintained, updated, or run properly. Why? Because GOG makes hardly any money at all. If it wasn't being kept afloat in basically by CD Projekt the store would have shut down years ago.

Sometimes I actually feel like I can't wait for that to happen, because of the fanbase here. The GOG fans who live in denial, abuse the downvoting, and ignore facts are the reason why I hardly ever spend money here anymore.

I'll be laughing my ass off when this store inevitably shuts down because they have no market share and make no money. I'm going to start going out of my way to contact publishers and make detailed posts of the bad experiences here, and why I think GOG releases are bad for them and bad for the gamers.

Keep abusing the downvoting though GOG'ers. This community is a lot of the problem with this store. It's absolute dog shit, and far worse than the Steam community. And keep begging for those GOG releases. I always have a nice giggle when I see the begging for something like Skyrim... Imagine port begging for a 10 year old that is available already on a superior store front...

You're the spiteful one when saying things like '' I'm going to start going out of my way to contact publishers and make detailed posts of the bad experiences here, and why I think GOG releases are bad for them and bad for the gamers.'' so that alone earned you a downvote from me otherwise I would have been fine upvoting you

Anyway the reasson to buy games on GOG is simple last I checked drm-free games on Steam still are tied to the steam launcher thus in that sense they are not nor ever will be drm-free when tied to a launcher when otherwise void of drm factors where as GOG games don't require the provided launcher and you also get back-up installers and the like

I'm pleasantly surprised to see the dev(s) is(are) a man (men) of their word. I honestly was not expecting, in this day and age, for them to keep up their end of the bargain, with so many disappointments from other devs. This deserves some praise and attention.

Would you please explain to me who forced you to still use the forum of this terrible, terrible store with this even more terrible community? Or is it just fun for you to post mean things and being spiteful and insulting?
I mean - after all you basically said it: " I care about the money in my pocket more than anything else" which I think is a bit sad. For what it's worth - I would not miss your postings at all - so feel free to move on if you so desire. I and the rest of this "dog shit community" wish you all the best and don't forget to close the door behind you ;)

Serious question.
What actually is this?. Is it a "remaster" or upgrade over the original version (i noticed blurb on the original say it was only episode 1)?.

Some comments seem to indicate its quite short. 2- 2.5 hours?.

Is the original or this version better? ( considering the price is more than double.....).

Also... hows the OST and DLC?.

It seems to be a sequel, or rather continuation of the first. The first one is reportedly quite short yes so don't know if that's because it's an introduction or if it's this one as well.

As for DLC it's only cosmetic so depends on your fancy.

The DLC is stupid as heck but also completely unnecessary. Let them make some dollars off idiots, who cares.

It's more of a reboot. This version looks and plays better. It's very short, but designed to be replayed in New Game + on higher difficulties with all your unlocked weapons and abilities.

kmanitou: Skinny jeans or bikini DLC?

KetobaK: Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well. But... May I suggest you the Black Kitten DLC?
As I currently share my home with a wonderful black kitten, I may need to buy this DLC just on principle alone!
Hey GOG, since Playism is still on board, how about getting us that missing La Mulana 2 update 1.7.7.2?

First of all the video game is linear and to the point. The title lasts as long as it has to. Secondly, if you buy it, play it on hard mode and you will extend the duration of the video game. Thirdly, use all of your character's abilities. Don't just play it as a standard shooter. Normally it can last about two hours of gameplay. And I have to say that is much longer if you compare it to episode one of this saga which could be finished in half an hour to 45 minutes (roughly).

As far as DLC is concerned, some of it is aesthetic. In the case of the OST it's great. The music as expected uses very Asian sounds, stringed instruments, percussion, air, in short it's a solid OST.

Overall, the experience is a lot of fun if you get the most out of it from the start and play on hard mode.
For some reason, the game isn't showing up in the Galaxy 2.0 client. Only the original Bright Memory is showing up. Is anyone else noticing this?

They are merged under the same entry, as some games and their demos are.
Which isn't really correct, as the two are independent games.
Very surprised about the free upgrade but I did like Bright memory very much. As for the dlc. Who ever needs those skins can buy them for the small amount of the money they cost. They have no effect on the gameplay since those are just cosmetic skins.

You have to click on Brigh Memory and on the top of the gamepage in Gog Client you have "Overview" and left of it you have a Cube with a 2 next to it. Click on that and choose Bright memory Infinite. Gog sadly does not list Demos/Prologues and Full games separately so sometimes it can be an issue to find the game in Gog Galaxy.

See attached picture.

Yeah, unfortunately GOG does not realize that even if the game description explains it as well. However the main problem with this is that playtime and achievement progress will be added ... it's just stupid. The only time this would make sense is when you own the SAME game on multiple platforms but GOG Galaxy devs do not understand this.
