Pretty expensive. I'm not sure what I was expecting the price to be, but this just seems really high. I don't own the original, but I don't think I would even buy this if it had a 25% off discount for everyone. It just seems like a poorly priced product right now for what you get, especially when compared to another remaster that just came out. Professional voice acting was probably a mistake if it bloated up the price also. Just an opinion though from someone who bought the Terminal Cut updates for full price at release.

I mean, that other remaster that came out yesterday was Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster on Steam. That remaster seems to not only have more work and care that went into it, but it also costs less at the base price (US$17.99), but also has a 20% launch discount running until September 23rd for everyone making it $14.39.

If I'm gonna buy a remaster right now, which one do you think I would buy? It's not the one on GOG. Now I'm not saying everything has to be priced the same or anything like that, but these are both remasters, priced in that same $20 or under bracket, and competing for your sale this month.

I'd still like to get BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites at some point, and it'll remain on my wishlist for now, but it's not going to happen until we see a major discount. Unfortunately, it's just a very hard sell right now with it's asking price, the competition it's going against, and the fact that major sales will start creeping up before you know it.
Not a new game, just slightly refreshed... and i still got betrayal in my library... hmmm...

I'd say if you already got betrayal don't buy this.

Also the cover looks like a reskinned Hikaru... (a little more busty)

Alexim: I didn't buy the old version of Bloodrayne: Betrayal because I assumed that it would be attached to the new version as is the case with the other BloodRayne games, and obviously I was screwed.

Please GOG, for once do the right thing and put back the original version attached to the purchase of Fresh Bites, even Steam does that.
We are looking into it!

Thank you!
Did someone already play BRBFB and can tell something about that "rebalanced difficulty"? Is it playable now?

Cadaver747: It's a feature, you may call it "a hidden discount", in order to activate it the product should be placed in cart / ready for checkout.
Thank you!

And please GOG, keep the store page of removed games accessible for their owners. I really hate it to lose all the information about the game on that page. As far as I can see these pages are even kept on GOG as all information comes back when a game gets re-added. So why not keep these game pages accessible for owners of the game?

That's great - it would be even better if selecting store page in the library of Betrayal (now renamed "legacy") wouldn't just redirect to the remastered version but instead show the correct gamecard.

Nice, now I just need to email this note to myself last year before buying the old version.
I can buy this but not Blood Rayne 2 :(

Please state that on the game description.
