They made The Last Door for one.

GOG.com:
On that note, hey GOG, dev is listed as The Game Kitchen here and Game Kitchen on The Last Door, making it so if you click the link here you only get this game and DLCs while if you click it there (since it's a simple term search) you see all.

I NEED this game. Now.
I have no money, but I'm seriously considering to skip a couple of lunches for it. No joke.

i didn't notice the devs were the same of The Last Door! Another reason to get it!

O.o that genuinely surprised me. I really liked both The Last Door games, and Blasphemous art looks cool, but it would probably be too difficult for me and I don't have time to git gud, so it's a pass for me.
Looks good! I'll have to keep this one on the old watch list.

The games kitchen, a spanish studio, They did The last door, an incredible horror point and click adventure
This game does look fantastic, but I don't like that it has high quality voice acting due to how they tried to stick with the retro look. At least make the sound seem more distorted so it gives a 1991 video game voice acting vibe. For a game that tries to be this atmospheric while sticking to its whole retro vibe this seems like a huge oversight.

I'm fairly certain I'm not the only person who got Prince of Persia 2 vibes from this game.

It certainly looks interesting, gonna wishlist this one for now.
So if I'm getting this right its like an 8bit side scrolling Dante's Inferno? and it's more Castlevania and less Metroidvania correct?

If so SMTFU for deluxe <3 <3 <3 <3
Can anyone confirm if the levels are procedural or fixed?
Will a Mac and Linux version still come in future as promised?
Is it good much? And most importantly, what genre it belongs to? Castlevania? Metroidvania? Or, Igavania?

They are fixed. That's why they have a "non-sequential level design".
For more info check the Kickstarter page here:

Silverhawk170485: Will a Mac and Linux version still come in future as promised?
They say that "Due to circumstances out of our control, Mac and Linux are not going to be publicly available at launch, but they will be really soon."
And if you are a backer and don't mind some bugs in your games, you can ask for access to their current Mac build by email.

They are not procedural :)
Insta-bought. This game is incredible looking.

EDIT: After playing... this game is HARD. I like it. I think I may have wandered into the wrong area though.

Guys, posted a small review on the store page, if you are interested or still on the fence about this one. Tried to cover the basic premise both tech and gameplay wise. Hope it helps someone. Cheers!
Great graphics but the game looks hard as hell and I guess that a controller is mandatory. So not really a game for me.
