The Big Apple is rotten to the core. How about a bite?

<span class="bold">Beat Cop</span>, a retro-styled, nonlinear adventure about beating the odds and perils of 80's Brooklyn, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com!

From NY detective to traffic warden, it's a long way to fall. And Jack Kelly didn't exactly land on his feet, either. With the false murder accusations ruining both his life and career, his only ticket to a decent existence is working the mean Brooklyn streets while looking for the real culprits.

NOTE: The game's soundtrack is included as a bonus goodie.

Is that the reason why, if you write the very first comment and then press post, it will say "Oh noes! There´s nothing in here" or something like that?

I think so, it happened every time I was the first to make a comment but I'm not sure - it didn't happen that often after all. Maybe JMich can confirm it :)

It was a nice surprise to find the OST there, thanks!

I found a bug in the countdown clock, before I closed gOg page, to go to bed and sleep, it was showing that the game would be released in ˜15 hours. If it was correct, the game would be released at 17:00, here where I live.
Not a serious bug, but I want to let you guys know about it.

Variety is nice too, don't get me wrong. It's something temporary anyways, it will not always be adventure games.
I say let the adventure fans have a great time, be patient, the blues haven't forgotten about other game genres.

How can you be "kicked out of the force" and be a beat cop? And my mother is very edgy, thank you very much!

If that trailer was supposed to sell me the game, it lost on so many accounts....

With all the release activity and special sales lately, I hope Beat Cop doesn't get lost in the shuffle. It looks quite promising. Think I'll wait for a patch and pick it up.
