Let’s be honest - you asked for it!

Arabian Nights is a classic 3D platformer which earned a group of devoted fans since its release in 2001. Set in a world taken straight out of the pages of One Thousand and One Nights, this game can bring you whole loads of fun.

Buy Arabian Nights before January 2nd 2020, 2 PM UTC to get it 10% off.

gibbeynator: This looks so much like PoP3D that I'm surprised it ISN'T PoP3D.

ShaunRoberts: Same. Doesn't help that POP 3d was called Arabian nights in some regions, I got very excited until I saw the screenshots, he does look more like the prince from pop2 shadow and flame though so excitement became confusion

Wouldn't have been surprised if it was a costume change due to someone being offended at the time, but nope this is definitely a different title and I'm too lazy to see whom copied whom
PoP3D came out in 1999, this says 2001.

ReynardFox: So "quality" isn't required to pass the curation I see. If it's a meme it's good enough? Ok.

Sorry for those who will inevitably tell me to lighten up, but I'll do that once GOG apologizes to Degica for rejecting their games. Ignorance of a genre isn't good enough when you're willing to sell actual kusoge.
Besides the infamous speedrun, I do believe the 2k+ wishlist votes helped and the fact it's not already on Steam (and if it uses nGlide or another emulator, it may have been easy to get running). I know that's not any conciliation but I do hope you eventually get your Degica games here eventually.

Do me a favor if you would, post the wishlist links to all (or the ones you care about) Degica games GOG rejected. I wouldn't know all the names.

The upvotes came mostly from that speedrun, I remember watching the number climb massively afterwards (I saw the speedrun live). It's a meme, it's another situation like the "Put Waluigi in smash" crowd, where they don't really want the character but just think it'd be funny to see, I would be surprised if more than 10% of the people who voted for Arabian Nights actually have the intent to purchase it.

As for Degica's games, good idea! Here are the most important releases that we've been denied:

Well, Silmarils made some very well-known games in the 90ies, so I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people also voted for Arabian Nights out of general interest.

ReynardFox: ...
I don't know how you feel about the wishlist but I'd suggest creating a thread dedicated specifically to showing off these games (especially links to YouTube footage) / getting them attention and encouraging people to vote if they'd buy the games here. You could also do so on the GOG subreddit and this game genre subreddit (bullet hell?) and relevant genre forums, kinda seek out those who'd likely buy GOG releases of these games.

low rated
it looks like absolute crap?
Painfullly obvious Prince of Persia wannabe.
I love the low system requirements of this game: Pentium® II 233 MHz with 64 MB RAM.
But I doubt that any of the supported Windows versions will even boot on such a PC. :P

I wonder if it could run Crysis or at least open a 800x600 wallpaper of it :D. Cheers

Wow.
I too have a semi-love/hate thing for some of these types of games. But Druids gave me headaches (yep physically speaking) which I'll never forget.
