What's the combat like? Is this a twin-stick game?
Very, very tempted to buy this! Love the oldskool rpg feel, but not a fan of mobile games. Curious to know how gameplay is handled on a keyboard-and-mouse setup? Wishlisted for now.

Did not know that... I'm often fascinated by one-person teams and the games they come up with. :) Not an easy endeavor!

Yes, It's a twin-stick when using gamepad (2-player local co-op). Or WASD + Mouse for keyb/mouse :)

It's fully designed for PC and console, mobile is the secondary platform.

Love the games. Bought them all on mobile. Question: did the remake of the first one get abandoned?

Looking forward to playing this one again,
The game is 13.99AUD on google play. 22.95 full price GOG (its 11.49AUD while on launch special). Does the PC version have enough additional content to justify the price? (the gameplay looks decent)..II and 1 are on google play but only II and III have a demo.
Hate to be judgemental this early but this game felt like cheap MMORPG from 2008 for people that can't afford WoW Guild War.

The PC & console versions have local co-op, mobile is single-player only - and depending on your device, PC has better performance. Thank you!

Thanks a lot! The remake did get abandoned, yes. However, there are multiple "9th Dawn-like" or "9th Dawn-related" games in the works right now, hopefully with something released next year. 2022 marks the 10-year anniversary of the first game ;)

I think that is disappointing. I don't like that style because I suck too much at it. Maybe I'll put it on the wishlist because everything else about it seems great.

no problem!

It seems most fitting as it allows you to direct combat in any direciton you want, I've not heard any complaints about the control scheme as of yet from people that played it. I doubt any other control scheme would have worked for it - I hope you get to try it some day! :)
