6 freeware games, and 2 more if you donate.

100% of the money = 10% to each dev, 10% to the organizers, 10% to the charity (SOS Children's Village Croatia). A cool charity BTW, although a low percentage for them.

I wonder who organises all this....

Me too. The owner of the site, it seems. It's a site about indie bundles.
This is definitely one bundle that you're actually giving for the sake of charity.

I mean, technically, that's how it should be anyway but anyone hitting bundles simply for the sake of discounted games probably won't be too keen.
Scam or not, it reached $1,026 already.

Hi, organizer here. Why would it be a scam? Also, feel free to ask me anything, will be happy to answer!

You have to realise that an unestablished company popping up all of a sudden and "selling games" would seem a little suspect to anyone, especially in light of various incidents (certain Kickstarters for instance) and the ease of setting up such a website.

The Humble Indie Bundle was helped by publicity and the fact that it had well established, well known indie devs backing it. The Indie Royale was the same. You have two games that barely anybody has ever heard of. Interesting looking games to be sure, but unknowns.nonetheless.

(I should mention at this point that as a Linux gamer, I do know Neverball inside and out, as does probably every other Linux gamer).

Well, here's to hoping we get known so silly allegations like that don't exist anymore :)

Didn't hear about Kickstarter scams, what happened there?

But it was luckily exposed before anyone lost any of their money. People have, quite understandably, been a bit more worried about "unproven" people & companies since. And it is healthy to be a bit paranoid. That being said, from what I've seen of IGB since its launch earlier this year, it looks like a trustworthy enough site.

Thanks, I know we're new (IGB is not even 3 months old), but we're working hard so we hope people learn to appreciate us in time :)

A link back to your bundle in one of the NGO's site's news posts would probably fix this for you.
Was the war the reason the SOS village project started in Croatia?

I was assured the link on SOS will come tomorrow. I'll let you know when it does.

No, SOS is a world organization, there are SOS Children's villages in almost all countries.

Mighty Jill Off is a wonderful game. No music, though, so definitely get your own chiptunes going. I suggest the soundtrack to Batman NES, I find it bizarrely appropriate (I use MP3s that run a little longer than the attached vid, though, but you get the idea).

Yup, I'm glad the game is one of the free ones, Auntie Pixelante is an awesome person and she makes awesome games.
