As the thread name suggets, rate the last posted song on a scale from 1 - 10 and post a new one for others to rate. Preferably we will use Youtube so that it's accesible for everyone.

Because I'm such a gentleman and a scholar, I will let someone else post the first song of the thread.

Edit: Changed my mind, to get things going I'll upload the first song.

8/10 couldn't hear the track, but still enjoyed it. Sending the Militia.

LongitudinalThrust: Sending the Militia.
Awful, repetitive, derivative, annoying. 1/10

Loved her voice, but couldn't understand a word 2/10

Boring, drawn out, not keen on her voice either, nor on that instrumental passage at the end. Would have settled for simply a fail grade, but docking one more point, to 3/10, for that part.

Since I was reminded (very strongly at that) of them recently, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWWmTBU7R10

Ah, quarter-hour tracks. How can you complain about something being drawn out when you link something even Zeppelin would have gotten tired of partway through? ;) It's not bad, though. Not my cup of tea, but probably at least a solid 7/10. In fact, I'll give it 8/10 just because the keyboardist has a Star Wars figure attached prominently.

I see Imperial Age likes to use Old Norse runes. Keeping in that vein, I'll offer up Heilung. This is...one of their few live tracks that is actually shorter than your linked offer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wy-W-pYlds

(If it starts to lose you early on, skip to about 2:50 when the litany of names begins)

Long and drawn out are very different things. That one has several parts, can be broken off into different songs, good in themselves, if you want; the previous one was basically the same monotonous line for five minutes, then a switch to that instrumental at the end.

Didn't lose me, though when I saw Castlefest and a language I didn't understand I had a bad feeling. But that's actually good stuff, and quite a performance staged too. Not what I'd particularly look for, and would still want to understand the lyrics, but 7/10 easy.

But since you went with Castlefest, there's one band that pretty much spelled that until the ugly falling out with management in recent years. Will go with an atypical one though, not that anyone can quite say what's atypical for them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU24A_a7rHo

Alfadhirhaiti means "Names of the All-Father". It's essentially a roll of the names of Odin, though it starts with names *associated* with Odin, like his "horse" Sleipnir. I think this is a reasonably accurate translation, but I had a hard time understanding the singer.
Man I love Omnia. Want to give them at least a 9/10 on principle but I'll go with 8/10 since that track made me think of a sleepy, marijuana-stoned Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys and now I have to go listen to Celtic folk music which always ends with House of Pain somehow. >.<

OK, I'm off to fields of beer and angry Irishmen. Leave you with Stars

Stars
It's nice, the kind of music I used to listen to a lot in my early twenties. I never really gave Stars much of a try, despite the fact that I really liked "Take me to the riot". Anyway, spontaneously I'd give it an 8/10, which for me is quite a high score. I feel that I should explore more of their oeuvre.

I leave you with my favourite Kent song, 747.

9/10 - Punk, messing with the listener, gender-bending, confrontational
