Yes. 3000 is like 2000 with almost everything slightly improved, but no new changes.
Opinions are mixed on which is better. Some of the differences between 3000 and 4 are discussed and [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_simcity_3000_unlimited_6f432]here. Personally I think that 4 is better. But at the same time 3000 does have some really cool things going for it: wacky mayors from neighbouring pre-existing cities that you can do business deals with; lesser complexity compared to 4; incredible music; lighthearted almost cartoony vibe. Unlimited also adds several different building styles and terrain types, which I'm not sure 4 has. At the end of the day 3000 is a great simcity game that can be enjoyed in its own right.
Next time try to put something more descriptive in topic name - it will speed up a lot getting a proper answer.

2K doesn't have holiday bonuses like haunted houses and stuff. :D I also don't know about the monuments in 2K.
Is it possible to sell/buy excess power/water in SC2000? Can't seem to remember

WAIT! You can actually do that in 3? I saw the mention of it but I thought the guy was being sarcastic. :P I'm totally serious and evidently I'm totally stupid. XD

You can! :D Though I don't think you can initiate it. If you build a road/railroad/power line/water pipe right on one of the four edges of the map then you will be asked if you want to connect it to the neighbour city for something like 2000 simoleons, which you then connect to your main road/rail/power/water network. The neighbour of that city will then be the one to approach you to make a deal. If you have excess power they might want to buy some, or if you're running low they might offer to sell you some etc. A good way to make some money is to buy their garbage, for which you need a road connection and some extra landfill space. It's quite easy too in 3000, since in 4 from what I can remember landfills cost a lot to maintain. In 3000 you only pay to zone them the first time.

I was kind of being silly misteryo. :P They are nice little addons but I wouldn't say they make or break the game. XD

Then again my last city in #4 had The Empire State Building and The Gateway Arch right next to each other and I thought it really tied the city together man.
Did anyone here manage to kill that level 48 archgriffin yet?
