I am as well, though I've stopped trying to puzzle it out, I do check back to see if there is a solution or even new hints.
The capitals I assumed were not relevant, since they're used only in cases of proper nouns, other than the 'R' for the car, which is also a cap for reasons having nothing to do with grammar, or likely a clue.
One could have devised a puzzle such that lower case pointed to letters and caps to numbers, or vice versa, but I don't think that's what's happening here.
Still, I do feel a bit less-smart for not being able to puncture it. Sometimes just the way you organize the data can point to what the key might be, but here I'm not seeing what that would look like - perhaps if I change the font to Comic Sans...

The link between answers and digits/letters is quite logical, nothing arbitrary like uppercase/lowercase.The capitals I assumed were not relevant, since they're used only in cases of proper nouns, other than the 'R' for the car, which is also a cap for reasons having nothing to do with grammar, or likely a clue.

Bump! I want to see someone get this and explain the solution. I haven't given up yet though, just want more people in to get to solution faster.

As far I understand you have to find a word with the number of letters in parenthesis that matches the description. However I have no idea what to do with it afterwards.

Here is his previous puzzle, all those answers will give you the gift code if you can convert them into correct letters and numbers. It looks like relationship can be seen if you've got all right answers.grimwerk

The following would be invalid clues:
live after a serious accident (7)
space without matter (6)
sprite or fairy; Tinkerbell, sometimes (5)
affordable; reasonably priced (11)
efficacious quantity of snuff (7)
Jack Sparrow catchphrase (5)
The following are valid, but unsuitable for this puzzle:
what those without loaded guns do (3)
seventeenth element (8)
This one is arguably valid, but again unsuitable:
breast exam (9)

Didn't actually know that codes were limited to A-F, so that did give some options to do with my answers.
Still doesn't make it logical to me so I will probably not solve the code.

Not in, just saying thank you for the giveaway, and for the puzzle as well! I'm most often *really* bad at these kinds of things, but I just stumbled on this one and am going to have some good fun later giving it a good look and seeing if I can actually figure it out to any degree on my own (and with the clues you've given... I know myself too well to know I'd just be too helpless otherwise)
:)

The old 16-letter codes carried all letters; the new 20-letter codes are simply hexadecimal (hence, 1-9, A-F; I have never seen a zero).

Thanks, akhliber. :)
I have the next puzzle half-built, and it relies on something other than a curious encoding. (So far!) So it may prove friendlier to some. That said, I'm the sort who can happily bang away at a puzzle even if I can't solve it. I spent a good 20 hours on Austrobogulator's massive puzzles a while back, and couldn't scratch 'em. I enjoyed failing well enough! Wrong guesses later become puzzles of my own.
