I like playing quick puzzle games on my phone. The Laserbreak series is good and a game is available for free every once in a while. I recently played Sigils of Elohim which is free. You have to fill YxZ rectangles with tetris pieces, quite entertaining
How about this free web browser game?

Yeah, because I'm the only one who owns that game. :P

No, just the only one who'll admit it. ;)

You should make a thread about dating sims, since you're apparently a sage when it comes to those. Or maybe I will.
My favourites that I highly recommend are Machinarium, Syberia and Syberia 2, Stacking, Thomas Was Alone and FEZ. Lots of fun and tricky puzzles and some good, charming stories among them as well. Hope that helps!

PoppyAppletree: So, puzzle games are one of my favourite genres, and I'd love to get some recommendations for more.
At last, my time has come.

If you want puzzle/adventure hybrids, look towards stuff with environmental puzzles such as the Myst series or, my personal favorite, Quern.
Another option would be the Professor Layton series, if you want an actual story and dialogue and whatnot. That one's more straight-up puzzling with story in between. Puzzle Agent 1 and 2 are kind of similar to this, although the puzzles are dreadfully lackluster for those.
If you liked Portal 1 and 2, Q.U.B.E. isn't bad.
As far as just general "puzzle" goes, it honestly depends on what kind of puzzles you're looking for. Zachtronics so far are the undisputed masters of the complex. There are plenty of fantastic minimalist puzzles on Steam as well. Some of my favorites are:
- The Hexcells series
- KAMI
- Hook
- klocki
- PUSH
- SiNKR
- SquareCells
