You only have 6 days left to pre-order The Witcher 2, but that’s not the great news today. The great news today is that now you can officially purchase and pre-download 95% of the game before launch day--a GOG.com exclusive! You won’t have to download the whole game on the release day with the whole world, so you’ll be able to play The Witcher 2 sooner. Get it DRM-Free only on GOG.com with the best digital distribution package available.

Pre-order now to grab the full exclusive bag of goodies with all of the bonus material: a virtual version of the collector’s edition artbook, the whole soundtrack with 4 unreleased tracks exclusive to GOG.com, wallpapers, avatars and a photo tour showing the behind the scenes work of your favorite CDProjekt Red team. Last (but not least!) you get one of five epic RPGs for free.

If you don't know what the fuss is about, our very own sister company CDP Red is about to blow the world away with the new Witcher 2 :) They listened to community and fan feedback, they incorporated all the changes people wished for and they have a whole lot of surprises waiting for you in the next installment of the Witcher saga.
If you never received (or can't find) your game's product key, instructions on how to get your free classic RPG, or your Fair Price Package codes (if applicable), go here:

deonast: Only after I bought did I notice any pages indicating AUD $69 as a pricing, I'd never have paid that so I'm glad about the US pricing, not sure if that was a glitch or what, but I'm thankful never the less.

I'm hopeful someone will release a patch or that I'll "acquire" an international version somewhere along the line. Not like I haven't bought the game.

So not all bad news, just a bit unexpected.
If you hit the preorder button before they upped the pricing you got the $45 package if you didn't it would be $69.

Ah that makes sense, so my jumping in early wasn't all bad after all.
Thanks again for this awesome move from you, Gog. No DRM and other stuff I love about your service but due to re-calculating euros to dollars in the order, it was veeeeery nice price for me and in addition with Witcher 1. Great gift for myself.

It's good you are around here, finally some solid customer's care :).

Thanks for clearing that up, though by that logic since there was no Australian version when we pre ordered either, we might as well be able to argue that we should get the version we ordered.

Just annoyed that with a few clicks it wouldn't have mattered anyway, had I known the FAQ changed or at least had the time to scour through the forums more frequently.
Any idea how we can get the extra game download? Do we have to wait until actually release day even if we have bought and pre-downloaded The Witcher 2?

There should be a link in the confirmation e-mail you get that takes you to where you can claim your free game.

There was a link in my email, a big orange button which was very clear.
However, I think earlier emails went out with some hidden link by mistake?

If it the link wasn't in your confirmation email, you can go here and you should be able to claim it.

Ravenvolf: Yeah, same here. Got my cd code but no link to the games. I have viewed the source, plain text and everything under the sun but there is definitely no link in my email.

Venom: You can view the proper version of the confirmation email here:

We will also resend the proper emails soon.
This page gives me a different information from my CD key email. I tried to PM Trevor about it, but I believe he didn't notice it in the sea of PMs he must get.
I've pre-ordered TW2 on 11/18/10 and didn't get the confirmation email I was supposed to get in the last couple of days. How can I now download the game? Do I have to re-buy it?

Some help would be much appreciated.

then you haven't paid for it yet, when you hit the preorder button no money was transfered. you just got got instant access to the bonuses that were available. so go pay for it and then it will appear in your shelf and be able to be downloaded.
Ok. Guess I got confused since the preorder page never showed a "buy" option.
