is anyone else not seeing a cdkey when they click that http://www.gog.com/en/page/my_tw2_info link?

I've got my free game, and used the two codes but still not seeing a cdkey. I've sent a message to support anyway, but was just curious.

TheEnigmaticT: I believe you can pass along the link to someone else and gift it to them. Try and it let me know if I'm wrong. :D
Alright, just wanted to be in the clear about any legal shenanigans.

Thanks for the go ahead.

Make sure your email is setup to view images. For some reason, they sent the key as a graphic file. I had that same problem until I went to the "Always display images from do_not_reply@gog.com" option.
yeah, it's set up to view images.

I wasnt able to see the free game code and coupon codes at first, so I set it to always display images from gog.. still no cdkey

StingingVelvet: I don't really go back and play single levels or whatever, I always just start over. That's me though I guess.

GameRager: Saves are also handy if you want to view certain cutscenes over again and the game doesn't have a cutscene viewer.
It's mainly worth it for me because of extremely hard games like Super Meat Boy, where I have an incomplete save that I'm proud of, and RPG's that import savegames i.e. TW1, DA, ME and because I'm in the habit of doing a clean install of Windows every six months or so and if I'm at all sloppy in backing up my files I'm liable to lose the ability to continue from one of those save files. I for instance would be very upset to have to play through The Witcher 2 with choices contrary to the ones I made being referenced.

fozzedout: Well, I think Good Old Games now needs a new name with this release, as there is nothing old about it. In fact, it's so new, I won't be able to max it out.

So... Good Games it is. Roll on gg.com
Good Original Games there we go still keep the gog.com
Bought the game, got Gothic 2 as my bonus. Was a little confused by the price difference refund for EU and AU customers, but makes sense that it was for those who ordered in Euros. I couldn't for the life of me see how I'd paid too much :)

My only disappointment is that the bonus pack wallpapers didn't have some artwork featuring semi clothed images of the fairer sex, perhaps I'm thinking too much of The Witcher 1.

After having futile attempts at ordering physical collector's edition from some internet stores (idiotic region restrictions and whatnot) I ended up going there and buying it here. Yay!

While at it I suggest to turn off "review" feature for TW2 since it hasn't been released yet and by the looks of it now being misused to ask stupid questions by people who have an issue of basic understanding that "review" isn't a "ask-questions-and-get-answers" section.

Exactly the same for me :-(

Looks like they've prepared a workaround. This worked for me:

I was gifted a copy of The Witcher 2. There is a different CD key in gift redemption email to the one shown at the my_tw2_info page.

nah, tried that link as well. it comes out the exact same as the email. I can see the free game option, both coupons.. but no cdkey

im not too fussed, the game isn't out for another six days and I'm sure it'll be sorted out by then.

mordlikeafox: depends on whether you want an rpg or a gears of war clone with conversation options
I still can't decide .
I hate to be a party stopper, especially when I love GOG so much, but I find it hard to justify paying €44,99 for a digital copy of a game that I can have the physical copy for €27.95 (it's a one day promo, but nevertheless...)

As I said, I love GOG but I love even more physical copies of my games, especially when they are cheaper.

Anyway, I hope The Witcher 2 sells like hot cakes during it's launch, independently of the format or store.

Regards,
