Its nice and all but what about some old games?
last two weeks were mostly steam games, and on April there was widely available ones.
new games should be in addition to old games not instead, meaning having only new games released in a day without any old ones as well does subtract from gog uniqueness.
before the new gog approach we had like 2 or 3 old and rare games a week, with a price of about 6-9$ , now its mostly new games and not that old of a games (like AC and RCT3) at 20$ price point.
thats my opinion on the matter.

Waiting for:
WC prophecy
System Shock
Age of empires ,all of them (its about time :P)
Mhhh, nice deal. 8)
Thanks Remedy for such promo on GOG.

Now I am a proud owner of a game which should have came out originally on PC, but that's another story.

Alan Wake for $14.99 and the sequel for $11.24? all DLCs? DRM-free? Instabuy. :)

GameDesigner: thats my opinion on the matter.
the matter, meaning the current topic, is the release of alan wake american nightmare, not your "where is my really old game" crying.
A few months ago I played through a copy of Alan Wake on the 360, and almost considered getting it for the PC over Steam, but I remained stalwart and unmoving! Then I saw Alan Wake and American Nightmare appear on GOG and all resistance crumbled. Having these recent titles at great prices (particularly these two on the promotion), DLC-included (with some fantastic goodies), and most importantly DRM-free, is really comforting to come across; harkening back to the days before online DRM - days when one actually felt one owned a game... we won't go into the other forms of DRM back then: "what is the seventh word on the sixth line on page twenty-four of the manual" - let's keep this myopically heady ;D

Needless to say, I bought both Alan Wake and American Nightmare immediately here. Many thanks for keeping a fine tradition of gaming alive!

timppu: Preordered.

Very unusual for me, I don't like to buy a pig in a sack, as the (Finnish?) proverb goes. I've yet to enter any kickstarter either, and probably won't.
It's "cat in a sack" over here in Slovakia. Being a huge cat-lover I just did the inevitable. :)
[BTW, I'm very happy to see it in this particular store.]
This will not be day one for me as I'd rather play Alan Wake first(only bought it already because of the 50% discount, won't be playing it for a few weeks). 10% off isn't enough incentive for me buy it like it was with the other when I probably won't play it for a few months.

It's actually 25% off ($11.24) if you already own (or buy it with) Alan Wake :)

Forgot about that, thanks for reminding. I probably still won't preorder it but I'll keep that in mind.

To point out just two of your errors. There were 2 old games per week. There are STILL 2 old games per week.

Moreover, there has been the bundled 5 Quest for Glory games, which GOG could have slowly released separately. That's a bunch of gems! It makes 6 old games released this week.
This is strange, I purchased the Alan Wake game earlier on, but I'm only seeing Alan Wake's American Nightmare in my cart at $13.49. It isn't offering me the additional discount?

...

Never mind, I removed it from my cart, re-added it, and it's offering me both discounts summed together now. I must not have been logged in when I first clicked on "add to cart" or something.
