akwater: There are so many dead languages to choose from :) That would be a ball. Some of them would be very very hard to even write down, then there are the oral ones. Perhaps... but the problem doing one like those not everyone here is gonna go learn Sandskrit (or other very old hard to follow) for a few gogs :) Plus I'd have to make sure you couldnt use google or other translator page to figure it out. :)

Back in the day, there was this young lady in my bio class that was Yup'ik that I was after. I ended up learning how to say just enough to offend her lol..... Just because some languages should be spoken by people other then those raised around it. Which is odd, /sigh. Most of the women in the class thought that it was a very sweet thing to do. So the moral of the story, just because you loose out on one woman doesnt mean others didnt notice the effort. (Then they get pissed off at you when you do not put forth that much effort when it comes to swooning them lol )
I know what you mean, I tried same trick once only to end up with a very lovely hand hitting my face :) I found out later on that friend who was teaching me this dialect played a joke on me and what I've told her was pretty rude :) I was thinking about book codes but it's pretty hard to implement through internet

lol nice. I learned to say just normal things and stuff :)

Yeah I had though about using some book code stuff... however just the fact we are all over the world the book pages may or may not be the same everywhere...that and if it is obvious what book then it could be too easy, so maybe a riddle that leads to a book and then something almost sinister cipher wise to find the message in said book.... :) dunno it would take a lot of work

Just finding same edition of the book in different countries could be a real bitch. And yeah, just going with the book code would be too easy, better something tricky like clues given in mirror writing or something similar :)

I have ideas, that are not exactly code code. We will see how it works out.

Ah crap sorry to get all off the main topic :) just realized the second page is all about the da vinci code and stuff lol
Yeah, sorry Drelmanes :)
To turn this back to the main topic a bit...

I tend to only respond occasionally to competitions, because I have loads of games already as well as being a working man, so can buy my own games.

So, I've moved to try and gift more games, spread the GOG love around a bit. Tends to be the random draw though, rather than making my own competitions.

If extra prizes would help your competition, I'll happily throw in a few GOG games.
I've personally been staying out of the contests to give other people a chance. Also because I have all the GOGs I want at the moment

Are you serious? Thanks dude! What about a $9,99 game for the 1st place? So I would give the $5,99 game for the 2nd place. What do you think?

Would you be able to hook up the 3rd place entry in my Photoshop Contest with a $5.99 game? I feel I'm going to have a really hard time choosing the winners here lol. Anyways if you're interested in helping out you can contact me via email if you'd prefer: gorgorothx@hotmail.com

You are awesome. Also since you're contributing a prize, you can help me judge and pick the top 5 to be voted on, if you'd like to. Just let me know.
Man you guys are awesome. :D
Well in my case, I saw this "For the first day of the contest, you have to do this..." and decided it wasn't for me. Too much work to win a game. I'm unfortunately a very busy person so any contest that requires a lot of work over a number of days is something I will simply refrain from joining.
I'm more into "know thy games" contests, than image manipulation, sound, etc ones. ;)

I though many people actually prefer those caption contests, i'm a bit surprised that not so many people joined in. Perhaps, too many images to make?
