JMich: Not that I know of. Quick and silly question, but you have entered your CC details, and the button still remains unavailable, right? Because in the screenshot, the button is not available because the details are not filled in.

I've tried buying it through:

-The client
-Internet Explorer (with cache and history cleared)
-Firefox

None of those three options have worked.
I have the same problem, any ideas how to solve it?
I am buying an addon but I have the original game bought on GOG so I shouldnt experience the same issue

For me it was grayed out because one of the items was already in my library. No error handling to indicate that when using browser, but the client was smart enough to show me the problem.

BrokenToyLol: Maybe the system recognises that my account is new, and so it blocks me from making purchases until a specified amount of time? I'm not sure if this is the case but it would certainly make sense.

Yes, a few of them. And they're all listed in this thread:
1. Enter your card details before you go to check out
2. Don't try to buy games that you alredy own
3. You have to own the game on GOG before you can buy any DLC for this game

You've entered your card details, are not tryng to purchase a game that you already own and you're not trying to buy DLC for your Steam games? Well... Then you should be a bit more specific about your problem ;)

I have put the credit card detail, i already bought games before. My credit card is saved so that's why it's a little weird.
I have of course money on my bank account.
I don't own the games i want to buy. Same problem if i want to puchase money for my wallet.

You won't get any helpful answers without giving more information than "I have a problem, fix pls". It could be anything. Maybe check the date on your card. Is it expired?

Have you tried buying games as a gift? You can not do that nor buy wallet funds because your account is too new. That's a fraud prevention measure. That restriction will be lifted 2 months after having spent 10$ on GOG, IIRC.

Not as a gift.
No DLC

Valid Appears next to the card. Just have to add the 3 numbers of the capcha.


I tryed an other game for buying it and it seems to work today. The history of my previuous "order in process" disapear.

Now if i take any game, i can buy it.

I don't know how to explain but it works now. It's not the rebooting, I tried it yesterday too.

Seems to work Now.
The Problem was neither 1.2.3.
The order in process that i had yesterday desapear from the history and payment is possible now.
I gess the only solution is to wait in that case...

Just had this problem (5 July 2020), removing the Free games from the Basket solved it.
