When I try purchasing a game on GOG Galaxy and I proceed to the checkout stage where I enter my card information, the "Pay for your order now" button is greyed out. I have tried selecting other games and I have the same problem. I have tried restarting my client and running with administrative privileges, but it doesn't fix it. I have changed my currency to Australian Dollars (AUD) and the problem persists.

Can anyone help, please?

I have attached a screenshot to show the problem.

Thanks.

I'll try that now. Will let you know.

But I have the same problem in my Gog client so I'm not sure if that would really do anything.

Not working. Tried clearing internet history and cache and restarting browser. Same problem.

No one else has had this problem?

That's odd.

It certainly doesn't feel like there's anything wrong with my computer or installation files. I can't think of why I'm getting this problem. Maybe it's because this is a new account? I haven't really bothered to create a Gog account until today.

I have sent in a support email and I'm still waiting on a reply.

Any help guys/girls?
I don't have that problem but I think GOG has technical issues at the moment. It suddenly started to refuse my CC yesterday even though it was accepted like 10 minutes earlier and I used it somewhere else sucessfully this morning.

Are you perhaps trying to buy a game as a gift? If the answer is yes then that would be the reason.

New accounts can't buy gifts because there has been a lot of misuse. The fraud "New accounts buying giftcodes with stolen CC and selling the codes off to unaware buyers who have the game removed from their account when the CC owner disputes the charge" has become pretty common when The Witcher 3 was released.

Since then buying gifts has been made impossible for new accounts.

I'm not trying to buy it as a gift. Indeed, the option to buy it as a gift is greyed out.

You talk about a fraud prevention measure.

Maybe the system recognises that my account is new, and so it blocks me from making purchases until a specified amount of time? I'm not sure if this is the case but it would certainly make sense.

EDIT: To be clear, I don't intend on committing any kind of fraud. I just want to buy a game so I can enjoy my holidays. Haha.

Not that I know of. Quick and silly question, but you have entered your CC details, and the button still remains unavailable, right? Because in the screenshot, the button is not available because the details are not filled in.
Maybe you are tying to buy an addon without owning the main game?

Have you tried just buying the game through the website rather than through the (officially beta but more accurately alpha) optional client?

Of course. I wouldn't show a screenshot with my card details.

Yes.

I've tried buying it through:

-The client
-Internet Explorer (with cache and history cleared)
-Firefox

None of those three options have worked.

If you have the main game from other store and you want to buy the expansion here you cannot.
Update:

I think it's not working. I just entered my GoG code that came in one of the instruction booklets and I can proceed through to payment.

Will let you know if there's any further issues.

Thank you for your help, everyone :-).

So you were trying to buy the expansion without having the main game here. That's the kind of thing you should have said from the beginning. We could immediately have told you what the problem was.

I had the main game installed. Just didn't put in the code.

The main game was playable.
