People are using them mainly on KS.

HiPhish: I was able to register my boxed copy of Diablo II on Battle.net and get a digital download and I was able to register my boxed copy of The Witcher on GoG and just download the Mac version.
When they are released, anyone with the game will also get the Mac/Linux versions. With the retail version I assume that would be through the Larian Vault (I can check on that); Steam and GOG would just be able to add them to your account directly.

RPGler: It's weird they are not releasing all their other games to spent more money for their projects. I mean were are L.E.D. Wars and the Monkey Tales Games on GOG?
Years ago in the Larian forum Swen Vincke described trying to get L.E.D. Wars recompiled in order to remove the copy protection. The original compiler wasn't available any more (don't recall if they no longer had the install disks or if the compiler just wouldn't run), and their current compiler game gave too many errors to be able to be able to fix all the compiler specific idiosyncrasies in a reasonable amount of time. It was mostly tried out of curiosity, though; if there was enough demand, at least theoretically the resources could be eventually assigned to get it re-released (baring other issues).

RPGler: I doubt Larian will have any problems. They have more than a quarter in 2 days.
Don't forget about stretch goals, which would make for an even better game.

RPGler: Weird that Raze Larian didn't post anything here.^^
Ya, I got kind of busy and mostly neglected the general forum.
Haha, great, trunks of epic intelligence. Great incentive for the yet undecided :D

Can anyone please explain to me where (or if) Divinity: Dragon Commander has its place in the Divinity Universe? I got the series but haven't played it yet, but the impression I got from that universe doesn't quite mingle with Dragons with jetpacks (or whatever :P).

Dragon Commander is set far before the time of the other Divinity games, when Maxos (a mage mentioned in the lore of Divinity 2) was still around. The steampunk type technology in the game will be eliminated (Larian hasn't said how) before it would become an issue in the history of the other Divinity games.

Okay, thanks. But being a strategy game this isn't something for me. The historical changes though will be interesting to follow, I think.
apparently there will be two updates today as they are now 75% funded.Gog confirmed will have originals in..also something about dragon commander......

"Several days ago, we were making contingency plans on how we’d deal with a failed Kickstarter campaign"

This is... depressing, to say the least.

Meanwhile, THIS THING:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/portalarium/shroud-of-the-avatar-forsaken-virtues-0?ref=live
has raised over 1 million dollars. The mind boggles.
Did anyone noticed that it is confirmed official... Original Sin and Dragon Commander will be on gog...
Was there any doubt?^^

@Raze_Larian
How do you know so much about Larians intern issues?

I've hung out in their forum since Divine Divinity was originally released, and followed Swen Vincke's blog, etc. Last year I was hired on as community ambassador and Larian forum moderator, but since I'm still in Canada that hasn't added a ton of inside knowledge.

Mind boggling indeed. Some gamers are probably attracted by hairy chest and expensive jewelry.. :)
