Maighstir: I didn't get to see how old the account is, but I think that once you go reach 7 rep, you don't loose the linkability even when voted below, and if the account is from before the limit was introduced, it was never applied to the account.
Their account was created in Apr 2014 and I first saw them post in the "Thank you Katie ! ( a Moebius giveaway )" wondering how a user with such a fresh account and with only 1 rep was able to post links. But without post history, it's impossible to tell if that was indeed their first post.

The post was removed but it was quoted here earlier.

Hmm, no more than 24 days, so certainly not from before the limit (that was a couple years ago or so). Though by making a post a day for a week, they'd build up the neccessary 7 rep (unless I'm mistaken, it's one point per day of making at least one post), and would then be free to spam links to hell and back until cought (if I'm right in that the linkability isn't removed when rated down again).

It's quite possible that they reached the required rep threshold for posting links and then fell bellow it, but I think that the privilege is removed when one drops below the threshold - I've seen enough members stating so when they did. And that's why that particular post made such a strong impression on me. I'm leaning towards a glitch at GOG's end that enabled that specific user to spam links.

I think that it is possible to bypass such restrictions, though haven't really tested it. Unsure if it's best to post it here or just PM a blue, after the required tests of course.

Hmm, colour me curious. I'd definitely alert the blues if the system can be gamed - if there's a weakness that can be exploited, they should be made aware of it and fix it, otherwise we may see more of this spamming (warez links) and that's only hurting GOG.

Reever: ^ You're now in Hungary? :D

And I agree, I gifted my beta key to someone else, I'll just play the game when it's finished!
Yep. Thought it would be nice to visit Budapest before heading back to Belgium.

We have a release date!

We told you spring was coming, and boy is it ever. June 20th 2014 is still spring, you know! We know you've been hurt before, but it'll be different this time-- we promise!*

Jokes aside, we're running on all engines, full steam ahead and pushing hard to get it into your hands.

* But have yet to sign a blood oath.

Here's the project update newsletter, which was too long to post.

Good news. Or bad news, for me. That's the time my exam period is in xD
Reading the full post, now!
Just been watching this dual play showing the old version and comparing the new version alongside it, in a year this seems to have come from a pretty cool rpg to a MUST PLAY rpg that can comfortably sit alongside PS:T, BG, Arcanum etc.

The video is 23 minutes long, but by the first 8 minutes you will have a good idea of what I mean :

Now that release date is set it will probably turn up for pre-order on GOG shortly.
Larian has announced the retail Collector's Edition (Kickstarter update).

There will also be a digital Collector's Edition. Larian is still working out the details with Steam, so presumably when that is sorted out there will be pre-orders in general for the digital version.

.
Win a free signed D:OS Collectors Edition (ends Monday)
The Larian Facebook page at just reached 10000 likes, which looks better than 1000 likes, so we decided to do a small Divinity:Original Sin Collectors Edition giveaway.

We'll be giving away a free signed Collectors Edition to the person who posts the funniest Divinity:Original Sin screenshot in [the Larian forum] thread.

The screenshot may be annotated or not, and the criterium is that it makes the team @Larian laugh.

We shall measure the decibels produced by our laughter and the screenshot that produces the biggest release of pent up stress will be proclaimed the winner. This competition will be open until May 26th 13:00.

Good luck!

Very nice! That's the same CE box we get for the KS CE tiers as well? So we get our GOG key in addition to the 2 steam keys or do we get 1 GOG and 1 steam key? Actually, I don't really care about the steam key, so it's ok if I get just the GOG key and DVD lol
Stop laughing and release the darn game already >.<

Gratz on the 10k likes :)
