cw8: If I'm optimistic, I'll say it'll hit more than 650K by the end of the campaign. 800K seems really out of reach at the speed it's going unless there's a last minute surge of backers.
I guess it's almost 600k now with PayPal, and there's still 5 days left and moreover:
"We're going into overdrive next week. Well actually, it already starts tonight. We're doing online coop playthroughs with Youtube channels, independent journalists, and magazines, such as Games.on.net, Kotaku, RedPandaGamer, Jesse Cox, Quill18, DenOfGeek, TotalBiscuit, Gamer.no, Jeuxvideo.com, Angry Joe, Gamespot, GMBox, Kanobu... "

I believe that once these are out, numbers will rise like crazy, nothing is impossible. It'll be very interesting to see what'll happen during the next few days.

Cool, Quill18 has uploaded a 1 hour video of Original Sin. I'm subscribed to his channel and watched his Crusader Kings 2 series and I'm also watching his other Paradox games series.

Now what I'm really waiting for is TotalBiscuit's video.
Hope i have enough money in 4 days for Original Sin KS to be paid....

Paypal pledges will remain available for a couple weeks after the kickstarter ends, though (at least for now) add-ons are not available that way.

I think I'll finally actually pre-or... I mean kickstart (=P) this thing, especially since it's pretty much certain I'll be able to get a GOG key for it when it releases. I watched a few gameplay videos and I really like what they've shown. That turn-based combat system looks fantastic. Real-time fights are always too frantic for me. I also very much like how one can play around with the elements. How dialog is affected by players' stats is pretty neat, too. Though I'm very likely to only play it in single-player.

Excellent sources - thanks a lot of posting Ryuji!

This one is not clear to me from watching: is this cooperative mode going to be MMO style, meaning one needs to be connected to Internet and just crosses other players, or for targeted group of players where for example a bunch of friends may play together?

The multi-player feature would be a first timer for me, but the game-play has a lot going on for it, for what I saw. Seems that Larian must have built up quite an innovative and performing game-engine to manage the flexibility of cooperation and "bartering" over choices.

I am of course also still hoping we'll get companions to throw into the mix ... just wondering what might happen if one player irritates supreme some companion but his/her cooperation partner is on the other hand adored.

Edit: spelling.

Co-op can be either LAN or online; there are no public servers/matchmaking. For co-op, the person who joins a game basically takes over one of the characters that the host would otherwise be controlling themselves. They can then run around together, or separate and get into combat alone (which would be much harder, of course) while the other player is solving quests or talking to people, or even getting in to a fight of their own.

Totally noob question, if there are no servers or matchmaking, how do you meet other players online?

"Oy, would you be interested in some co-op Original Sin this evening? Hm, you're busy. How about Saturday?"
