Thanks to industry legend Charles Cecil and Revolution Software, the original version of the acclaimed adventure game is available as an exclusive bonus to gamers who purchase Broken Sword Director’s Cut.

After the release of Broken Sword Director's Cut, we saw lots of you asked for the original game. We've joined forces with Charles Cecil to bring the 1996 version of Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (a.k.a. The Circle of Blood) to GOG's catalogue. Users who purchase the high-resolution Broken Sword Director’s Cut will receive the acclaimed original as a free downloadable bonus. Anyone who has already purchased Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Director’s Cut can download the classic for free from the bonus materials.

Broken Sword Director’s Cut with the original version of the game is exclusively available at GOG.com for the low price of $5.99.
"will cost you the low price of"?

Can a price really cost something? Something's weird with that sentence.

Stuff costs you money, not a price.
Very nice. I never played the original and I liked the DC just fine, but a lot of people have been asking for this. Kind of curious what the fuss was all about too :D
Awesome! :-)

Thank you much!

Now, if you all could fix the bugs in the Moto Racer games for gears not working ...
Thanks a lot for this!

This shows again is why GOG is miles better than other DD services: you actually CARE about the games you release (and the wishes of your customers of course).

I strongly recommend everyone to make their first playthrough with the original version, it's just a much more coherent package.

Then you can start the director's cut for the additional content, Nico's three new scenes are in the first third of the game (and that's pretty much all of the new content except for a few additional closeup views throughout George's adventure that, while beautiful, do not add much to the original, so you can stop after Nico's scenes are over without missing much).

shouldn't be there "at"

will cost you at the low price of?

that's good news. I already have the old version but will probably get DC sometimes... like 2 years from now.
Sounds good. I played half of Sleeping Dragon(the third one) and all of Smoking Mirror. I gotta play this someday. The two protagonists make a great pair. :)
Good news for the purists out there.
That's really great and makes the gog version very special.
Awesome.

Big thumbs up to everybody involved in bringing the original to gog.
It's very nice to hear you are adding more options to your games, GoG team

I think both versions are good in their own way but I certainly understand how some people dislike the DC version and want to play the original more

Again, thanks a lot for this - keep up the great work!
Thank you, GOG.com
If a DD would do this, it could only be you.
Excellent work guys! Definitely another reason why I'm glad I support GOG.com!
Now that's what I call bonus material!
