And while Wiles used a supercomputer to crunch the numbers, Fermat only used his head!
Also, it's not quite the proof that Fermat didn't write down as Wiles' proof is 150 pages long and while Fermat's wouldn't fit in the margins of a page, but I don't think it's quite that long!

It's fairly possible that Fermat's proof was actually fallacious

Yes, Fermat's proof, if it did exist, was most likely flawed and could have been no where near the complexity of the modern proof. Wiles used mathematical principals that Fermat was most certainly unaware of, and even then, when he first thought he solved the problem he had made errors that took him a significant amount of additional time to work through.
