So lets start this, I`m curious what people will post. Please do only post one song at a time. It`s not important if it has vocals or not. And it is not important if it is a preexisting song used for a game soundtrack or was created for. Feel free.

Lets begin with a song from Bioshock 3. The ending was not that great but the soundtrack was awesome. Without any question.

Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Courtnee Draper -- vocal, Troy Baker -- guitar.

Was a popular Christian hymn written in 1907 and, because of its age, has lapsed into the public domain

I loved Dvorak's New World Symphony 4th movement in Asura's Wrath. The classical song was marvelous of itself and its rythm seemed perfect for the fight (chapter XI if I recall correctly).
Here's a link if anyone is interested:

Creedance Clearwater Revival Fortunate Son cover from Bioshock: Infinite.

There is more great covers in Bioshock 3, but this is my favourite.
Choosing one track from Sands of Time is hard : the whole OST is majestic as a whole, with is musical progression towards more epic brutality. And always with this vaguely melancholic, eastern, soft-ish undertone that does marvel in contrast with the battle intensities on the screen. I kinda love that game.

So, huh, that one, why not.
Poets of the Fall - Late Goodbye from Max Payne 2. I think it's a very good son on it's own, but it's hearing it at the end of the game that really makes it great. Probably my favourite games of all time. I can't believe we got robbed of seeing a proper continuation to both that and Alan Wake, both by Remedy Entertainment. Those guys just can't catch a break.
Back in the days, I bought a CD with the DUNE soundtrack for about $2. On the way home I showed it to someone who went totally fanboy when he saw that the artist was Stephane Picq ... obiviously, this was hot. And yes, the music was great, even for someone like me who had never played the game.

Well, I can only agree. The Bastion soundtrack really is outstanding.
You're Not Here, in the Silent Hill 3 game

My PC version came with the soundtrack and I loved this song. No other songs come to mind at the moment. The link is the whole OST, the song begins at the 2:47 mark. But all in all, I enjoy most of the music in any Silent Hill game.
Betrayal at Krondor's intro music is one of my favorites.

One of the first times when I realized that I loved game music.
