Brasas: Who thinks no lynch will be somehow important sometime?
Interesting thought, mmm?

avatar
Stanari: This man knows the truth
avatar
Brasas: Hmmm... do you imply he and you both know something the rest of us don't know?
avatar
bler144: @Stan, still, I would also appreciate an answer to that, whether or not Brasas was serious.
I know that yog is always scum! Anything else I leave up to your imagination, though that's a rather... unexpected line of questioning.

Tangental thought of the hour: Fox = animal = scum?????? illuminati confirmed

Lifthrasil: Well, friends. What do we do now? We still have quite some time to pass until the sun sets. What do y'all think we should do till nightfall? We should prepare for the night in some way to ensure that we survive, should the wolves return. Also, does anyone of you have the medical experience to have another look at the sad remains of little Julie before we bury her? To determine whether it actually was wolves that tore her apart - or perhaps something bigger. Or something else entirely. A weapon maybe? Perhaps there are some marks on the bones or whatever. I don't know exactly what to look for. Put perhaps some of you be more educated than me.
From a narrative perspective, I agree, it's a bit funny that it looks like a wolf attack and in response we...kill one of our own for some reason?

I was thinking maybe as our first order of business we could line everyone up and see who looks like they've put on weight recently, or maybe has some Julie stuck in their teeth. Anywho...

Trent and yogs are the only characters who are related to each other? Anyone else a brother/sister/aunt/uncle/secretlover of another player?

[RP something something]

I, Marie Thomson, don't have any medical training, but I could brew some tea and fry up some bacon for the wake. Perhaps one of the hunters or woodsmen might recognize signs of a wolf attack?

I could also chip in and write an elegiac poem. "There was a young woman from Oakwood"...hmmm, no, not quite right.

Apparently I'm very close to Wilma and her children (pl??) and should be comforting her, if, y'know, she were actually a player.

(I vote that JMich is Wilma!)

To quote one of my, Marie Thomson's, favorite poets:

One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

Through this great evil we can take comfort in knowing Julie, at least, rests peacefully with God now.

....

Also less peacefully in yogsloth's stomach.

Are you saying yog's ate Julie?

I was trolling him. Figures his mom would step in to defend him.

But seriously I have no specific knowledge at this time to suggest that is or is not actually true.

Come on dude, at least have some conviction in your random accusations!

Stanari: Come on dude, at least have some conviction in your random accusations!
They're hardly random.

....

I always suspect yogs. It would be random if I'd said it about QuadrAlien.
EBWOP - amusingly, of the two games yogs and I have been in together where I was mafia, I STILL suspected him of being mafia in both those games.

And I was right at least once. Okay, exactly once.

We also have developed a bit of a habit of speaking to each other privately in the thread - not unlike his "NEWCOMB BRO" thing, but with the variation that we actually usually understand each other.

So mostly I'm just trying to engage him and see where it goes. And I might be guilty of forgetting that other people might join in the conversation when I'm not especially oblique about it. :)
Random's not the operative word there.

I'll let you and yog have your fun then, lol.

SirCrimsonFox: joking aside I'm not going to remember this.

I post a lot. And I'm on 3 different sites in games now.

and i cannot fathom why a site would want to
a) encourage inactivity with this rule
or
b) make their game suffer by not letting people rapid post close to lynch...which is often the best way for villages to get wolves
avatar
yogsloth: We don't typically have rapid anything at deadline since we go so slow. :)

And keep in mind that this forum wasn't made for Mafia - it's made for complaining about PC games.

Just consider this a special kind of Mafia for weebies and bohabs and nanner doodles.

btw

Vote Nacho

He's not here yet and I feel like voting for somebody named Fergie.
His judgement in choosing to be named Fergie is surely questionable.

But I'd rather vote for

SirCrimsonFox

Right now. Because I just want one of the brothers to secretly hate the community and tree chopping. Probably bitten by a werewolf while he was out there chopping alone.
What a day! Little Julie dead and the majority of our peaceful little village resettled in the big, cold city. (that was some fast moving)

As maker of much of the village's food, I (Clair) volunteered to stay behind to help in the best way I know how. Without all the assistance I typically have in the kitchen, it may be a bit of an adjustment. I'll particularly miss Margery, she was a big help in the kitchen.

With so few of us left, should we consider living in closer proximity to each other?

If we sleep handcuffed to one another in a giant chain, then we'll easily find the killer for either killing their handcuff buddy or waking up their handcuff buddy

Hmmm...I wonder how many handcuffs we could drum up in this place.

I image JMich looks quite fetching in a bun. ;-)

And since no one has done it yet:

Vote drealmer

bler144: snip... whether or not Brasas was serious.
Now now Marie... how you can't be sure of my intent is deeply unsettling. I thought we had a little mind meld going on ya know. That you seem to have the hots for Wyrm is even more worrying, he belongs pickled in the bottom of a tequila bottle... hrmm... tequila is a thing here right? Not anachronistic at all...

PS: Yog always bears keeping an eye on. For amusement if nothing else.

PPS: Nice puns.

Lifthrasil: snip... in a normal game, I would be totally in your hair for starting to discuss no-lynch on Day 1. But this isn't a normal game. So I don't know what significance to attribute to your 'idea'. ... And what's more: I see no way to stay in character and suggest to lynch someone at the moment. ... snip
Heh... et tu Lift?

Folks had some hours to respond or not, so I'll comment that you are right there is an inherent tension between the flavor and the typical rules. That's partly why I brought up the topic. Trenton already chipped in on that and I tend to agree with what he said - treat it like a normal game until further notice.

So... heh...

But it's Drealmer, and so much flavor, and it's Drealmer... so I'm a tad paranoid.

@all,

So, who's missing or mute? These are scary times, and I'm concerned some are so quiet.

Dess, oh where art thou?
Agent, lurking again? Ix too, heeelloooo?
And Nacho and Tammy from the new gang right?

Headsup, later will start voting lurkers. And that won't be from RVS.
Will probly start with Agent since he's like a mini Wyrm of sorts :P
