hudfreegamer: Just happened to me. Someone sent me a friend request. I don't use Galaxy and my windows pc isn't online.

So, is there a point to accepting friend requests?
The whole friends thing will be part of the new Account system, and work on both the site and Galaxy.

The account section now has a Friends tab. No need to be sharing that link any more.

And yet, the friends notifications get removed from my notification number after load. Right now, I have 26 library notifications, 1 forum reply, and 9 friend request. So I see 36, then switches to 27.
