On or around Feb. 27th GOG started sending out newletters in German to me.
I really would appreciate the English version again.
Can anyone help me?

I found the switch to change the GUI on the website back English, but nothing to set the language for the newsletter.
Yeah there is a bug about that at the moment, depending on which country you have selected in your account. I will see if I can find the bluepost about it.

newsletters in german are more properly read on a podium, waving your hands around wildly.

Canadian newsletters are best read by saying "sorry" every other word.

and with Eh a lot, and the word aboot.
Here was the thread about it:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/newsletter_language
Gog said on twitter that there is a problem and users here mentionend that it is related to setting country to either Germany, Swiss or Austria.

Does that mean that all I have to do order to get rid of the "videogame-french" newsletter that's popping up in my mailbox since the french launch, I just have to set my country to North Korea or something ?

Yeah, then you'll get all the spam from the forum...

Yep. According to what I read the bug is the same for receiving the French newsletter. Try changing your country setting.

Done, thanks. Will see how well that works with tomorrow's weekend promo.

My language is set to English and my location is set to RoW and I still get the German newsletter. Bollocks!
