Wouldn't you really like all of the newest games on GOG so you could move over to here instead of using Steam?

I was also wondering if there was a call/voip feature, a bit like discord? Do they have that on here?

Thanks

Sure, if they're games I like and are DRM-free.

Depends on the game. Part of me finds the "Steam-only" attitude of some devs annoying. On the other hand, given half the latest games seem to be lootbox / pay2win / micro-transaction saturated cr*p, I'm also half-pleased we don't get many modern "premium" AAA games here given the "direction" EA, etc, seems to be going in...
I completely understand that. But I do want to see the games I play on Steam, to come over here! E.g I play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Rust etc. I want all of my games in once place.

hmm... that's actually a good idea. wonder why gOg have not considered this before. someone should tell them this. what about making a wishlist entry? that should work.

Never going to happen, you will always have games in multiple places. Some are platform specific, red dead, god of war are PlayStation only as an example. Others will never remove drm, some companies can't actually think without it.
I know about this because I use Uplay, Steam, Origin etc but maybe someone could make an all-in-one platform. I could see GOG Galaxy doing this

You're best off just sticking to Steam then, if it's that big of an issue. :P

Welcome to GOG & the forums.

Unfortunately getting AAA games here is a bit of a work in progress and they're released much less often than Steam. Games from Ubisoft and EA are almost a no chance unless they're really old pre-Orign / pre-uPlay and these 2 still believe that a copy protection is required.

Multiplayer games such as the ones you mentioned need to be able to communicate with all the other clients, again these are Origin, uPlay and of course Steam (which I believe the latter can do that).

It's a long road, but the biggest issue is convincing them that a copy protection isn't needed, I wonder when they will wake up, as in the end there is always the same outcome: Not using Denuvo then your game is cracked almost on release - Using Denuvo and your game will still be cracked after a few months.

If you want games to come here, vote with your wallet and don't buy them DRM'ed games.
