Strategic Command: European Theater, as one can expect from the name, is a strategy game set in World War II. What sets this title apart from others is that it's pretty much a computer game representation of a board wargame, with an additional layer of politics and logistics added just underneath. The AI isn't incredibly challenging, so this game's main appeal is as a multiplayer game. The plenty of options available here include the usual TCP/IP, hotseat and even the uber-oldschool PBEM (Play By E-Mail). So if you recall having some "grognard" buddies you used to play board wargames with back in school, now you've got a good way to get back in touch.
