Not the option I would have gone with, and it's a bit of a drag that they charge extra if it's to be translated into US dollars (and let's face it - most of us will have to since I doubt I can buy it with US dollars from the beginning). But it's better than nothing!
well done, gog! nice to have PSC.

D-ROCK: [...] So is this just a European payment method? Thanks for explaining!

G-Doc: No, the card is also available through many US-based retailers. You can locate an outlet near your location here.
Great, thanks for explaining!
Yay! Thank you GOG!
great news, THANKS GOG!
"Your payment's status could not be verified due to temporary technical issues."

I live in Turkey. Paysafe Card works in Turkey but I always get this: Your payment's status could not be verified due to temporary technical issues.

It doesn't redirect to Playsafe page.
Yep. That happens to me too.
We can now pay with a safe? How about anvils? Kitchen sinks?
Great news! Always good to see more accessibility options!
I am probably never gonna use that personally but it is gonna help new customers here, surely.

Yep. I'm a new customer who uses paysafe. Too bad it doesn't work.

So, what are the options that work for folks from China? Also, how is the PC gaming scene in general in China? I always wondered about that :)
None of the stores I usually go to seem to sale cards, just generic food marts and other places I never go to. And even then, I have no idea how Paysafe works or if it will work as intended. Wouldn't it be easier to just release gog cards at Best Buy like Steam did?
Seeing as I'm that dude pestering you about other payment options for over three years now (and also said I'll give up on my "don't pirate anything available on GOG" idea if you won't do this by the end of the year), have to say a big, huge THANK YOU!

Now it's not exactly the method I'd have preferred, and it would have been way nicer to implement it before the insomnia sale, but it's quite obviously the most... doable one for you and I can definitely use it. So, again, thank you!

Best Buy is an American store chain with a sprinkling of locations in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and China. GOG is based in Poland. Paysafecards are becoming increasingly common in Europe and many other regions. They are available in 37 countries including much of Europe, and quite a bit of North and South America. Unlike a giftcard, a paysafecard is more like a credit card in that it can be used to purchase a variety of goods from multiple vendors, while a giftcard is lashed to one particular store/brand.

It was the more practical move to allow paysafecards to purchase goods at GOG then to create specific GOGcards available in only a handful of countries. Also, less hassle.
