As our Winter Sale goes full speed, new games are joining in.

As of today, Activision’s titles are also available with discounts. The same goes for some best-selling games from other studios. Let’s see a few new entries into our Winter Sale:

Disco Elysium (-20%) is a thought-provoking RPG which totally changed the genre. A great choice if you want to enter the new year in a pensive mood.

Cuphead (-30%) is an action-adventure platformer inspired by 1930s animated movies. With it, the entry into 2020 will be filled with joy and bursts of laughter.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™ (-50%) is an epic RPG for horror fans set in the modern-day Los Angeles, where immortals fight for power.

Of course, that's not all. See other games included in GOG.COM’s Winter Sale which will end on 2nd January 2020, at 2 PM UTC.

Btw GUN is on sale, I think it's not available for some people.

The discount on the Soldier of Fortune series is pretty low, I guess I will have to wait another year for a better deal :p

Activision can keep their old overpriced games with fake discounts, thank you very much.

These are solid games at a good price.. cheaper then a value meal at McD's and instead of scarfing it down in :10 minutes you get hours of enjoyment from them.

Time/value ratio is fantastic and the titles are well done... sale or not SOF were quality games worth the price.

Nothing spectacular in terms of prices, but it's nice to see them discounted at least. I'll wait with Sildring for the next winter ;)

You can add missing localisations in most cases...

So, Gog sent an mail, telling that they started a "winter game".

You can unlock hidden offers by clicking on a picture - afterwards you can redeem a key for a game.

I clicked once ... and in my case it happens to be "Book of Demons" (for 7,49€ instead of 21,99€).

Exactly (!!!) the game I was hoping for, that it will be part of the sale - but so far there was no offer for it.

That was a really cool surprise!

Thank you very much Gog - Money incoming .... :-)

Oh but don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Soldier of Fortune is bad and/or not worth my money. In fact I still own my big box copy from the good old days.

But when I see games like Deus Ex: GOTY getting a -86% discount, I can't really consider a -20% on SOF a "good deal". I'm not judging games by their prices but I would rather get 5 good games instead of one for the same price.

I wonder why Activision seemingly won't give deeper discounts on some of these.

Unless you go the steam route, I honestly don't think they'll ever get much cheaper even if one waits a decade or more....also as Starkun says in post 6: They are decent for the price being paid(hours of play/etc).

Why does it matter if they are old(I thought many of us come here FOR older games)?

Also how are they overpriced? Many of the titles listed have discounts of 1/3 to 1/2 off the listed price(at least in the US), and are often decent for what one is getting.

And what do you mean by "fake discounts"? Do you mean inflating the asking price then cutting it down to make it look like a sale?

Has anyone tried that "Re-Legion" game yet?
