Neverwinter a new free to play MMORPG, that oddly enough is completely free. I'm going to check it out, I am curious if anyone else here is going to try it out. For the price of nothing, I think it's worth my time.
I was very interested in Neverwinter... but my experience in SWTOR burned out any chance for any MMO. Just plain tired of MMOs. :(

I tend to agree with you. I haven't played a MMO in quite some time, but I figured I would try this out until Might and Magic X legacy comes out. Btw, I love your avatar, funny thing is, I had KFC earlier this evening.

I don't have any idea what their MMO would be, but these tend to be grindy games and I just don't enjoy that.

If you like Harland, don't let Sachys know. He'll hound you for loving KFC. LOL.
It's by the same team as Star Trek Online, which is the only MMORPG I have ever enjoyed. So I guess I'll try this one as well.
It seems that the game will go live in about 9 hours for cheap asses like me. Bummer. I guess if I can find some time, I'll give it a shot.
I just got into Wizardry Online and Lord of the Rings Online. Imma wait a while to get into Neverwinter.
I alpha and beta tested Neverwinter, and I'll say it's incredibly fun. I'm concerned with a few items that are in the cash shop as opposed to being available for in-game gold, and I believe there will be a two-character limit per account, unless you pay for more. I've actually enjoyed playing a rogue more than a caster, which is odd for me, as I am basically always a caster in RPGs and MMOs.

I played SWTOR on sunday and started the day before that . I'm fairly sure I've killed at least a thousand organisms on that game as the Jedi consular I played as, it's just mindless killing/grinding. I'm at level 11. How far did you get into it before quitting?

I had a Level 32 Sith Inquisitor, Level 24 (I think) Jedi Guardian, both of which I mained and a Level 1 Bounty Hunter and a Level 1 Jedi consular.

All play was 100% free to play. I found the community severely unfriendly and the difficulty spikes incredibly testing. The story is good, but if the gameplay isn't that great, and the community treats you like sh*t... it won't matter how well written it is.

Whats Wizardry like? Anything like the older games?
I'm having a blast with it, Playing on the Mindflayer server.

Only complaint is that items seem bland, I mean ther'es not a lot of variety (in terms of visuals), from lv 1-20 my character looked the same.

Combat is fun, a lot more "actiony" then most mmo's, and some of the dungeons are fun.

Only lv 21atm.

Can't say anything about that, as I haven't played the older games. Combat (at least melee) has more action to it than most MMOs, cutscenes are a little grating the way they're put in, the upping-the-ante of potential perma-death is interesting, and I haven't had a run-in with thieves or player-killers yet. Some people complain about the graphics, but IMO there's nothing wrong with it. It's not cartoony or super-bright as most MMOs are.

Mana not regenerating is a bit off-putting sometimes, but at least you can put down camps. Monsters respawn a little fast, but in some occasions that's beneficial. Traps are hell and you really need to watch out for them.

I would not touch any MMO with a ten foot pole so no I would not try this,
Make it into a single player RPG then I'll be interested.
