Introversion have been promising a Subversion game for some time. It sounds more sophisticated. Either way, better than PBEM.

That would be quite interesting though, with differences between saved games able to be compared like commits or branches of source code, and with the ability to jump to any save to create a new branch from there.

Walkthroughs would pop up quite a bit faster, methinks.

I don't want my opponent to be able to restore any earlier state of the match whenever he wants. D:
Just a quick update, they're using a queue system for log-ins. The game is now very playable. It's actually pretty fun.
