It's no secret that the language support of gog.com is horrible. It has been often discussed, but nothing really seems to change.
Now, I always thought it was a problem with the publishers, who only supplay the English versions of their games to gog.com, but it seems I was wrong.
After I little bit of nagging, I finally got a response from the guys at nordic games (successor of JoWood and rights holder of Gothic, The Guild, Spellforce, ...) about this issue:
Also, some blue text comments would be very nice.

Der Grund dafür ist, dass GoG bei den Titeln eine eigene Masterversion anfertigt, was teilweise ein paar Wochen dauern kann von Ihrer Seite aus. Wir haben einige unserer Titel teilweise mit multilingualer Masterversion geliefert und trotzdem wird "nur" die englische Version angeboten. Wir werden das mal zur Sprache bringen, aber ob dort auch von GoGs Seite her Handlungsbdearf gegeben ist, wissen wir nicht bzw. haben keinen Einfluß darauf.
The reason is, that gog.com make their own master version, which can take them a few weeks. We supplied some of our titles with multilanguage masters buth they still "only" supply the English versions. We're gonna raise this issue with them, but if they see any need for action we don't know and we also don't have any influence on that.
So, since it seems we need to pressure gog.com into this, I'd like you to discuss this and vote here . Also, some blue text comments would be very nice.
