So I needed a haircut like super bad, but I didn't want to wait 2 days and I was just getting tired of having to take care of my hair and thought of how much time I wasted doing it. It pissed me off like super hard.

so I took my razor and shaved my whole head. Never done it before and all this took place in the course of 3 minutes last night.. I now have no hair with a thick beard making me look like Max Payne in the favella levels.

What are some of the more unusual spur of the moment stuff you've done?

Asked my girlfriend (now wife) to marry me. Just sorta happened.

Two friends (also coworkers) and I stopped at a costume shop on the way back from lunch. We each bought really cheap, really fake mustaches and wore them for the rest of the day. Surprisingly, just about every stranger we passed had something to say. After work, two of us rode a half-full subway home together. We kept our faces deadpan, and had some seemingly serious coding discussion. I still remember the girl sitting across from us, trying desperately not to be rude, shaking silently with tears of laughter running down her face.

I can totally recommend it.

The four of us lived together for a couple months before we asked my ex to move out. I stayed in the relationship another four months but it ran it's natural life and I left with mostly good terms. Ended up back in the same place I had moved from with the same kind-of partner and her girlfirned, but a much better job. That was one of my better excursions, learned a lot without getting my heart utterly stomped on.

A successful adventure! Excellent.

The strangest conversation questions I've ever been asked:

Random stranger on bus(RSB): Are you from the law college?
Me: No; I'm from the law academy (FYI there is a difference).
RSB: Have you had you acne looked at?
Me:It was worse before but now its coming down; so no.
RSB: Don't you ever cut your hair?
Me: Nah; I'm trying to make my hair look like Big Boss's
RSB: From which movie?
Me: He's from a game
RSB: Do you smoke Marijuana?
Me: No; does it have anything to do with hair growth?
RSB: No; its just that most people who smoke it are fans of <that musician who smoked it whose name I don't know> and they normally have long hair. I smoke it (he had a normal haircut).
Me: Really?
RSB: Yah
<Silence>
<gets to my stop>
Me: See ya!
RSB: Ok, until the next time!

Sunday evening decided to quit my job (where I've been working for almost 7 years) and work in game development. Monday morning handed my resignation.

That was exactly a year ago. The previous weekend was the Global Game Jam (2014).
