Show some respect. The poor man is dead.

So? That song is still one of the most insidious "ear worms" out there (right behind Safety Dance, IMO). Being dead doesn't change that, nor does it indicate any disrespect.

I know, I'm just giving you shit. :) Ever hear the Muppet Babies version of it? You thought the original was annoying!
The choice is obvious: Freddie Mercury.

Okay, I was a fan of Muppet Babies back in the day...

...but that song is too bad for description. My ears have been violated.
To quote (British comedian) Jimmy Carr:

"I'm not saying Michael Jackson is guilty. But if I was a billionaire paedophile, I’d buy a funfair for my back garden."
Freddie by and large, Rock > Pop for me.
Wow, difficult choice. But I am going for Freddie. He had a much more dynamic emotional range as a performer that has never been matched before or since.
Definitely Freddie Mercury!
