buckstone: new female singer? she has been with them 13 years now after Johan left..
Yeah, I didn't mean new as in she just grabbed the job. I meant new as in newer than Johan. I only have one album from Arch Enemy, Wages of Sin her first album with the band.
lol it just gave me a chuckle when I read it....I wasn't aware it had been 13 years now...I knew time passed but not that fast

Rohan15: Death and the Healing by Wintersun...in fact, anything off that album is good.
Wintersun's first album is amazing. Their 2nd album was a bit lackluster.

Roberttitus: I stopped listening to Megadeth simply because Mustaine is a piece of filth.... after listening to half of the bullshit he talks about nowadays I can't respect &/or take him/his music seriously. I wish David would leave again & form a new band with Nick, Marty & a new singer.
I separate the man from the music. I like the music. The man is hit or miss. The problem is Jesus is ruining his brain. I think he should go back to doing heroine, get good and pissed, and produce a Peace Sells 2.. Heroine works for many albums whereas Jesus works for just one ("The System Has Failed") and then it ruins the person.

anjohl: I think the new album might be the worst thus far, yes, worse than Risk, which was actually alright. I also didn't care much for 13. Endgame was solid though, would have been a perfect finale.
My sentiments exactly. The best song on Supercolider was ironically their cover song of Thin Lizzy.

Actually, to be technical, he ranks them "Least Favorite" to "Most Favorite", not "Best" to "Worst".

Elmofongo: No I knew pantera, I just wanted to know what the song I posted genre is, but I did research its pure Groove Metal.

So recommend me some Groove Metal?
Coroner isn't normally groove metal, but their last album "Grin" is very much groove metal :

Elmofongo: 1. Yeah I always thought the word "New Wave of British Heavy Metal" should be replaced by now with just, "Heavy Metal"
Because it's reinventing history. By keeping with the terminology, even though it's no longer new and there's no current wave of anything coming from the region, we all know what we're talking about. If we all of a sudden start changing the definition of words and terms, people are going to be fucking confused.

jjsimp: Yeah, I corrected him earlier on that...I always heard it called Glam Rock not Glam Metal. KISS, I just hate lumping with those other bands, but you are right they really are a Glam Rock Band.
And I always heard it as glam metal. Wikipedia even has an article on it titled that :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glam_metal. You can argue that it's more rockin' than speedy enough to be categorized as metal and not heavy enough, but those aren't essential components of what gets termed with the broad-brush "metal".

Yes! Running Wild. I went all the way to Germany just to see them live back on their Victory tour :

I had to look twice as well, because I thought it was tops five years ago that I bought Wages of Sin, but 2001 or 2002. Man time flies when you're having fun.
From their new album being released on the 27th August :D

Damn, that's cool. Children getting introduced to metal at a young age, perhaps there is a chance that rap will die a horrible death. Probably not because they know how to market to teens, sex and violence. With Metal I have seen the violence part, but sex is limited to Warrant, Motley Crue, or other Glam Rock bands.
What were the kids in the video taking shrooms or something? Food and desserts coming to life to try to kill them. It looked like a typical Gwar gig, although I don't think I saw a big monster eating anyone.

Seems more like Alternative (Industrial) to me, akin to Nine Inch Nails and Marilynn Manson.

I noticed in the title it was Gwar music, not to mention the music itself. I don't have kids and those shows are a little too new for my childhood. I have caught a few Spongebob programs when my niece is around, but I think I must have missed that episode. I have watched enough Spongebob to have the theme song memorized, though.

Very interesting mix. A female singer and some metal rifs and some folk music throw in. Never thought I'd here a flute being played with a male death metal vocalist, a female (actual) singer, and some metal rifs.
Closest they come to me is Maryland, but that's a four hour trip through Washington DC without traffic (which never happens), I'll pass.
Although, my mosh pit days are well over. Good luck to the band.
Is this their first tour of North America?
They are Russian correct? The former Soviet Bloc confuses me now a days.
