QC: I find it pointless. There's already the fact that they timed the release against Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9 release, but there exists a bigger, and better collection already for the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era of consoles that has games 1-8 plus a pair of Japanese Arcade Only games.
Word on this new collection is that the emulation is significantly improved compared to that older collection.

darthspudius: Yeah that collection is perfectly okay for you. But it did not come out in Europe. So pointless it is NOT. I don't care about Might No. 9, I'm looking into getting copies of the original games and this is why I am wondering if anyone has played this collection.
Usually I wouldn't point to a IGN review but this is one is good and informative.

Also another one from a non-gaming website that praises the port for its extremely accurate translation for modern hardware.

Thank you. I haven't looked at these webites in a long time.

KreepSheik: Would really love to see this on GOG.
I can't help but wonder why... I've been playing the original NES megaman games via emulation for well over 10 years... I don't see why it should change now...

Perhaps I've mentally associated NES and SNES and Genesis games synonymously with emulation...

Probably for the best, but I deny you the fact you should ONLY have those digital versions instead of the GBA's library emulated since they are bitching great (a handheld that can go 60FPS? sure, take my money, even if at the end I am not, I will probably donate even if my coin is useless!)
