Hopefully Viking Conquest will have a better discount if they do that. In that case I think I'll pick it up.

sherringon456: Which publishers charge people for that? Patches are essential. On the subject, I didn't get viking conquest when I got M&B: Warband here on GOG earlier this year because it was not on sale and too expensive (Got Napoleonic Wars though. Base game is great, Napoleonic wars is ok, I would recommend both although only just in Napoleonic Wars' case.I haven't played the first game but it sounds like everyhting or almost everything is in Warband as well as new things.). Sounds like I had a lucky escape, although if it is fixed, I may get it on sale.

That's worse than AAA publishers. I'll be wary of them. Any other publishers do this?

Well there was an update patch that came out today, and apparently it upgrades Viking Conquest to the Reforged Edition.

Pretty surprised, was thinking there would be a whole news thread about it (like with Terraria 1.3).
