darthspudius: Man, you're doing too much to begin with that is your problem. You can just do the main quest and come back for the little things.

KOTOR 2 first level is absolute fucking torture.
avatar
snowkatt: kotor 2 is better then kotor 1
Correction: KotOR 2 would have been better than KotOR 1 if it hadn't been an unfinished buggy mess, hastily kicked out the door, with a lot of rather important bits lopped off with a chainsaw.

absolutely wonder if there is a mod to just skip the fucking thing and emerge level 7

i still think its better with or without the fan patches
even if its amputated bloody mess its still better then its predecessor

KneeTheCap: For me, the game series died at the end of ME3. Not gonna get this new one.
And what an ugly, sad, pathetic death that was.

Thanks BioWare, but no thanks. I'd rather watch Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, then play yours.

You make it sound like it was a bad show. I really enjoyed it. :s

I liked the first season. Then it went downhill. Anyway, I liked Earth: Final Conflict better.

Hopefully they'll think outside the box and instead of the red, blue, green ending we'll finally get a chance to play yellow, brown, pink.

Is it possible for humans to DERP themselves into an alternate universe? I think we're on our way to finding out.

Correction: KotOR 2 would've been better if a different company worked on it.

Elmofongo: Damn talk about a litiral strike out:

Strike 1

Dragon Age II being grossly dumbed down looking nothing like its predesscesor and Bioware insulting gamers saying traditional RPGs are dead and we want COD audiance.

Strike 2

SWTOR essentially being a WOW clone and a really buggy one at launch from what I heard. Only 1 Raid at launch. leveling content went by too fast. I do like that dialoge trees etc. at least makes the mundaneness of grind quest feel more involved.

Strike 3 and your out

Mass Effect 3's INFAMOUS ending.
ME3 Does NOT, have an ending, never had one

That pathetic piece of s*** of a DLC is barely worth mentioning, and it's still does not cover the various possible endings

It's just like trying top cover a 3 meters large hole in the wall with tinfoil (aka Aluminum foil for the more technically inclined).....

darthspudius: If it's anything like ME 2/3 then it's a no buy for me. Utter crap!
I'm always puzzled by such hyperbolic outcries over the sequel* from people who admire the original. It's one thing to dislike the changes and/or other aspects but quite another to hate the entire game with a passion.

*(I still haven't played Mass Effect 3.)

Wishbone: Personally I thought the Mako was awesome. Nothing wrong with how it controlled either.
I fully agree - it was sorely missed in the sequel.
Speaking of endings I felt it was sad it took DLC to give a good ending for ME2. Ya'll know the one.

EA screwed Bioware, listen to how EA rushed ME3 after they bought Bioware. Idiots. They had a franchise that was going to print money like Star Wars and in their greed for the quick money they spoiled it by rushing ME3.
This is why you can't have nice things EA, you're too stupid not to choke a golden goose to death when you have it in your hands. #EpicFailEAManagement

edit: P.S. Mass Effect was only created apparently because Paramount was too cheap or lazy to let someone give us a fairly open world Star Trek. Fools. I would kill for a Star Trek with the detail of Fallout 3, Witcher 2/3, etc. Take your pick.

Not in this case. Mass Effect 3 just wasn't a very good game. The one thing holding it together was the story, story from that game and both previous ones. And then they fucked it up at the very end. And I mean really Highlander 2 level fucked it up. Made every single thing we did not matter for shit, and made the whole story have less sense then Darth Vader peeling potatoes with a rubber chicken.

I stayed up most of the night to finish the big final battle. To get to the end. And I already knew that something bad will happen, I've heard, but I avoided spoilers. But even knowing it would be a let down I did not expect that. It's an amazing thing that ending. Some of the worst writing I've ever seen in any work of fiction. The experience of playing all three games, and staying up most night to play through the finale and getting to that ending... that mindfuck, facepalm shitbiscuit of an ending cannot be described. If you care at all, not about Mass Effect but about storytelling as an art, about writing quality in fiction, that shit will haunt you for the rest of your days.
