I didn't expect them to announce the third part so soon. I thought they'd at least let it bake for a little longer.

I tell you what though, when I saw the inside of the ruined Big Ben, a little voice in my head hoped to hear "Hellgate: London" remake.
The trailer:

Honestly, I'm not really digging this. It's just like the four aliens invade earth movies coming out or have been out. It's just so...bland.

NINJA EDIT!

And everything is the same damn color! Everything! Color exists! The color wheel is real! It's not a lie!

Delixe: You forgot to include the line In My Opinon. A lot of WUM's forget that.
Clearly you forgot to read the last three words I typed there ;-)

Another point that's probably already been mentioned, Bioware are going to have trouble resolving the mess of companions present. Isn't it like 12 or 13 now if you include the ME1 characters? I can't see them all getting satisfactory development.

I was seriously waiting for this trailer and it dissapointerd. The plot of ME and ME2 wasnt generic by anymeans (or at least the way it was implemented). But this... Im a huge fan of the saga but this could bring it down as quickly as 3DFX. It came and it went.
In the "Making Of" DVD that came in the ME2 CE, they talked about it being the "Empire Strikes Back" of the trilogy. That would make ME3 the "ROTJ" of the three. If I'm not mistaken, in ROTJ, the Rebels took the fight to the Empire. I would have thought a better plot would be "Human-E.T. alliance travels to whatever extra-galactic, darkspace dimension that the Reapers live in to wipe them out once and for all" . Instead they decided to go with "One Reaper. One Reaper. Oh shit! It's all the Reapers!"

Thats assuming that the invasion of earth is the core of the plot rather than, for example, the catalyst. The plot could very easily go with the fall of earth as a teaser then the rest of the game is making strategic strikes building up to taking down the reaper king in darkspace or something

That's what I was thinking since the teaser trailers for ME2 were about Shepard getting killed and that just ended up being the setup for the game and not the main plot.
I just want to have Miranda and Liara as major characters in the game. Also make Dr. Chakwas less creepy.

And what better motivation could there be for going after the reapers than them destroying earth? Ooh I hope there's an option to thank them!

What did you find creepy about her? I rather liked her myself

I definitely liked MA2 better, so here's to hoping it follows this trend.

Maybe the only way to save Earth is to strike at the core of the Reaper fleet?

I just hope they don't make it so that at the end game it will seem like the Reapers will win, but at the last moment a Geth fleet comes and saves everyone. That would suck.

Well personally I'd be much angrier if they tried to wipe out the Asari, but Earth comes in second at least.

So your next pumpkin will feature an asari commando squad?

Whenever I ended my conversations with her, she would say goodbye and all I could concentrate on were her lifeless eyes as she turned around on her seat.
Well I don't know about you but on MY Normandy we hired whoever was most qualified and if the applicant happened to be a zombie then we didn't mind
