I'm sure ME3 will be a good TPS as that is what BioWare is going for these days; unfortunately that's not the type of game I am interested so therefore I will not buy this one. Splendid if others like ME3 and give money to BioWare, but I won't.

It's already been explained that the demo doesn't reflect all the choices that'll be in the game so raging over it accomplishes nothing. I didn't call you a PC elitist if anything I called you a pessimist.

Dude, whoa. Whoa. An internet stranger said something like "LOL ur dumb and ur momma so fat" back in 2008 and not only you still remember it, but use terms like "insulted my family" to describe it? I think you'd benefit from taking things less seriously, man.

Back to topic - sometimes I envy that doggedly persistent optimism of people who desperately cling to details like "the demo doesn't reflect all the choices that'll be in the game" against all evidence. At least until the game is pushed out and their hopes are all crushed because marketing is a lie and grumpy pessimist me is all, "Well, whaddayathink, this game isn't as terrible as I expected it to be. Good."

If I had this attitude, I would've never played Deus Ex. When I first heard of it I thought "Yet another gory FPS. Don't we have enough of them already?"

Beside, expecting something good is more productive than being grumpy all the time.

P.S. Before I forgot, that insulting post was VERY long and detailed (think people who wants to pass off smarter than they are).

Like I said, if you already decided that the game will be bad then there is nothing to debate and you'll probably won't like it even if it isn't as bad as you think it'll be. Then again, it seems that most people that are expecting ME3 to be bad didn't like ME2. I liked ME2 a lot so if ME3 is nearly as good I'll be happy. If it has a little of ME1 I'll be happy too so I don't need to cling to anything really.

Did Deus Ex have marketing campaign as ludicrous as all of Bioware's since EA takeover? It always had and still has an incredibly positive word of mouth, and following advice of this one is not the same as falling prey to a professional campaign.

My opinion? demo sucked. Loved first hated second, hate this. shame

The single player mode is too small to have an opinion at least for me, and the MP is fantastic, I really enjoyed it. I'm playing it as Adept, lots of fun.
