GameRager: Some discounts were mistakes and they fixed them.

Redfern: Well, i dunno. In email i got it was 50% off, also, on previous sale this game was already at 40% off, reviews is mediocre, so drop to 50% is not something unusual. Maybe 30% is mistake? Its kinda rare for games to offer lesser discount then earlier.
Anyway, if it stay at 30% i just pass.
That was the only price change today. No new additions. No mysterious discount increases and the single discount decrease from 50% off down to 30% off for Serment - Contract with a Devil.

I wonder how GOG thinks we should be able to find out about these stealth changes and additions without the watchful eye of some forums members.

Do you remember such a character from Batman - Two-Face?
Well, GOG is like him: one half wants to sell us games, and makes discounts. And the second half does not want to sell us games - so quietly and without any announcements adds games to the list of discounted.
I call this "the behavior of Two-face", while doctors, as far as I know, call this - schizophrenia.

I swear, GOG is training us to use wishlist and turning on email notification.

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried that Lovecraft's Untold Stories game?
Yup, I've tried for a while. What I know for now:
1. Works with Linux/Wine out of the box.
2. Gameplay-wise it's just roguelike, but:
a) setting is quite unique - lovercraftian!
b) it looks like it contain some story
3. It does not offer save game option and it seems to be quite difficult.
I like it, but I don't expect to finish it :)

You should just answer yourself if you like this kind of gameplay.

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried that Lovecraft's Untold Stories game?
I've played it a little on my Android phone - it's a dual stick style 'shooter' with some atmospheric exploration elements. You explore around, collect info and occassionally a cultist will jump scare charge at you. Probably worth $2.99 but I haven't played it a whole lot. Apparently you play different storylines to unlock other characters and storylines.

ciemnogrodzianin: They've added Lovecraft's Untold Stories and it looks like both: great discount and historical low. Anyone played this one? GOG rating is only 3.6...
Just bought it and played my first run. I think the game is a lot of fun but you have to go in with the right expectations.

It's a twin stick shooter with roguelike elements (which means permadeath and randomization) and that's not everybodies cup of tea.

However, if you have played and liked games like Risk of Rain, Our Darker Purpose or (probably the most similar game) The Binding of Isaac then you will most likely like this game too.

If you didn't like the aforementioned games you can safely skip this one as well, knowing you didn't miss anything.
Less than 14 hours left for the sale! Grab your copy of Pajama Sam Vol. 1!

Hey there, quick question: is this game more like Binding of Isaac or more like Enter the Gungeon?

I love the first! No need to manage weapons/bullets (aka: 1 "weapon" at a time & infinite ammo), tons of stuff to unlock and nice balance in general. Always kept me starting over.

I quickly grew very tired of the second. Always managing multiple weapons / limited ammo, heavy focus on taking cover behind furniture (something which Isaac lacks and I'm glad because I don't like so much "tactics"). Generally, it was very difficult for me to progress and finally gave up a bit too early.

The price seems tempting and the specs look manageable for an older laptop.
