It was some sort of stealth game, about 15 years ago. Third person, but not a close view.

You played as a spy/spec ops that had to infiltrate a facility in an arctic environment... And you had a hangover at the beginning of the game. There were a limited number of weapons in the game. However, there were different types of ammo (for example, subsonic ammo for stealth kills). There were also some usable items. I think there were also some levels where you had to ride a snowmobile. Towards the middle/end of the game, you reached some levels with some sort of "zombies" and the game turned more into a RE-like.

I remember this was a good game, but haven't found it and I can't remember the title.

Help, please :)

I think someone else asked about a game just like this and it turned out to be this one?

Sounds like Gorky 02 to me (known as Aurora Watching or Gorky 02: Aurora Watching in some regions). I never made it to any zombies but considering that it's a sequel to Gorky 17 there's probably stuff like that going on later on.

Good thing you mentioned the snowmobile - which I only remembered because we incidentally watched this gameplay with a colleague last week when we discussed older Polish video games.

Edit: Here's the intro with the hungover protagonist. And fun fact: There was another Gorky game between the two, Gorky Zero: Beyond Honor.

That's it: Aurora Watching Thank you very much!
Metropolis Software produced some very good games. And it was a division of CD Projekt, by the way. Strange that are only three of its games on GOG.

Right, too. So many different titles for the same game :)

Yeah, but they were only acquired by CD Projekt in 2008, I think they didn't finish a single game of their own anymore after the acquisition.

And dang, wasn't aware that Soldier: Elite was yet another title for the same game, lol.
