A group of us are hoping to get a group together for a quick "Russian Roulette" style game of forum mafia. We have an imaginary gun with six revolving chambers, and a bullet in one of the six at random. The aim is to try and shoot everybody on the other team without getting everybody on your team shot. One team is larger but doesn't know who else is on their team, the second is smaller but are in communication with their team members.
The game requires some commitment and it should span approximately two days.

Everybody who wants to play post here! After an uncertain amount of time I'll close it down, send out the teams and start the game.

Each player may attempt to fire the gun once, until everyone has made an attempt. If everyone has made an attempt to fire the gun, but a successful shot hasn't been made yet, then everyone may attempt to fire the gun a second time. If only two players remain, it might become necessary to have a third round of attempts.

All valid shot attempts are permanent. Once a shot has been placed, it cannot be recanted.

If the gun hasn't been fired successfully by a certain deadline (it will be noted in the thread), then the gun will automagically target a player from amongst those who have not attempted firing, or who have fired the least, so far in that killing period. This deadline will be 18 to 42 hours following the latest killing.

I use my Tommy Gun and shoot everyone, I win :)

But in the russian roulette zone there's only one bullet in your tommy gun.

Real life Russian roulette with a Tommy gun... now there is an idea.

It's ok, I feel like I speak for everyone when I say we're all universally terrible. Just awful. None of the players are any good at the game at all.

It's cool, I'd say by and large most of the players are playing for fun and we're all pretty easygoing.

Be advised that this is almost certainly not going to be even vaguely representative of normal mafia games here. LIke, at all.

The main similarities are that there are two opposing teams and that players get eliminated.

That's entirely true. Of course, some are more terrible and not-good-at-the-game than others :P
